Please fix all these bugs, only with a book called Campbell-Walsh urology review, I can't open it, the app will crash every time, recurrent crashes with my books

Why are you unable to search your books in release order? I like to read series and the Libby app allows you to see the order of the series, but Play Books is quite stupid and doesn’t allow this feature. How about investing a little money into this app?

This is still not fixed as of Jan 17, 2025. It’s causing accessibility issues because the light level keeps getting turned up on its own. It hurts my eyes and makes it hard to switch settings back where I need them. Please fix! Previously: This app functions well for the most part, but the lighting settings and the screen color settings don’t stay where I selected in app. Every time the shift from night to day themes, my Play Books dark, low light settings shifts from what I selected. And there’s no way to make them stay exactly as selected. It also frequently switches back to light theme and a more lighted scale than I can tolerate if I’m using other apps before returning to my book. I expect more than this. It’s 2025. Apps should have such basic settings sorted and should hold their values without user monitoring. I’m on iPhone 15 Pro Max and running iOS 18.2.1

The app works okay most of the time but I am having trouble highlighting passages. For example it won’t stay highlighted and disappears. All my highlights don’t show up again even when I highlighted in the past. Please fix! Other that it works fine.

I don’t like how it gives me sample bc all I want to do is just read the boo and I get sample on every book😞😭

They used to work on the iPad app, but lately my highlights and bookmarks disappear immediately after marking them. If I open the book on the android version, they all show up, even if I completed the highlight on the iPad. For some reason they are just gone from the iPad app now. Disappointed, but hoping for a fix.

Why can’t I purchase books on the app???

Seriously I thought this must be a joke, why do people add a book the a wishlist? Someday they will buy it? And how do you think will buy it if there isnt a buy button anywhere at all? Why was this app made and how does it make its money? From sales? Google out of every other tech biz out there should understand than anyone else.

La aplicación se queda pegada o se cierra. No permite descargar las compras y solo funciona bien sin conexión a internet. Es horrenda en este teléfono, no ocurría en versiones anteriores del iPhone.
