Have been using this app for nearly all my travels - including city walks which are my favorite. It’s amazing the effort that has gone into making this so useful - and in all honesty, it is just well that it is a paid service. That way we get good, authentic and well researched content. The amount of effort that writers put in definitely must be rewarded!
I am planning to visit Jerusalem and this app makes me excited and helped me a lot visualizing my trip and my tour. I should have know this specially since I do a lot of single touring.
It's my best friend when I travel because even when offline it's impossible to get lost. Another thing I love is that I don't have to prepare anything beforehand because there's different tours for different places and you just take it from there. Awesome!
This app saved us a lot of time and frustration!! It has great features that allow you to look up all the sights in the city you’re visiting, gives you a live map to help you navigate in an order that makes sense, AND it gives a brief description of what you’re seeing for those that love history or just want information! It’s especially helpful if all the signs are in a language that you do not speak.
Love the app except for the robotic voice that reads the text. With AI options now they should be able to make the voice sound human, and the tours would be much enhanced.
Can’t even log in. Free app is just a hook to make you buy the upgrade. Little useful information.
Bought this for the Edinburgh Leith Walk tour. Literally an AI generated paragraph and a map that was unreadable. No points of interest, no details. Useless.
I like this app for: - its user-friendly design, - easy learning curve, - the off-line maps allowing preserve your data, - informative description of the sites, as well as helpful travel articles.
Nearly every city I go to, there is a GPSmyCity city walk that helps me explore the place and learn more. I have been using the app for a few years now and highly recommend
My husband and I are full time RVers and we have used this app all over the US. The City Introduction Walk is pretty much the first thing we do when we go to a new city. You can create your own walks with the curated sites in the area or choice one of the pre-made walks. It’s informative and a great way to get a feel for a new place. Highly recommend for anybody who likes to get a little exercise while learning about different places.
