I have never encountered any tool that helps me stay on task, motivated & organized the way Habitica does. This is the only thing that has ever helped me consistently form habits. GREAT app, if I could afford a subscription I would buy it without hesitation. As is, I purchase gems when able to support the developers
It doesn't recognize when it's a new day and tasks aren't refreshed. You have to pay to do quests. It's a glorified task list that mostly doesn't work.
Imagine removing the best part of the app…
Habitica is a great app. The save information is synced across all devices. and the gamification is quite nice. It was quite fun and helpful. I was a bit sad to see that the volunteers and the core team had a dispute. There seems to be no volunteers now. I also wished Habitica is a non profit since many volunteers worked on it and I do love non profit open source softwares. The app is still very nice although there has been less updates to the quest and new items these few years. The app is still very useful and is worth a try.
Kinda like a tomagatchi in your pocket except dungeons and habit creator. There are still pets to food. Will be becoming a subscriber ASAP
Great app, would love some updated features and interface refining. Interactive quests (games) would be awesome too.
Requires constant connection to come server apparently as I couldn’t get through the character creation process without it constantly indicating that the app couldn’t connect with the server. I had at least two bars cellular service but that’s aside the point because I shouldn’t need any internet connection anyways.
This app rocks but there needs to be better incentive to pat for it. I recommend a crafting system and more detailed stats for gear.
I tried to buy my gems with coins and the app closed without warning. I wish auto-accept quest was a thing.
I like the habitica app and the philosophy behind. Although I would like it to have an apple watch support also, not just wear OS
