I use the notes bar under every habit I create to keep track of the dates and times I complete my tasks. I have a better understanding of my daily habits and have an easier time coming back to something I’ve taken a break from. Each month I’ll move my notes to a google document so I can keep track of my data and clear up my Habitica app a bit. I’m noticing positive and significant changes to my habits, also using this app to break bad habits.
If they add a to do widget it’d be perfect for me and a lot of people
Data integrity the past few months has gone into the toilet. Data loss issues, sync with iPhone deleting issues that were added on desktop, checklists losing items on save. A todo tracker that loses my Todos isn’t a good todo list tracker.
Could be really really great it just falls short in the interface. The tab with the customizations is very full and difficult to navigate. Also the rewards are fairly low for difficult tasks.If I’m writing an essay the one coin pay off isn’t motivating enough to even bother going on the app. I understand that larger coin scaling could be abused to fast track progress but it would make the honest user’s experience more motivating
Do you ever crave the nostalgia of Runescape but you’ve grown up and don’t get the same enjoyment from levelling up in a game or simply don’t have the time to spend on a game? I’ve started to use the app and it’s in a way satisfying that craving but in a more productive way with real world benefits.
i was thinking to myself, “i wish there was an app that would make a game out of my todo list,” and then i was pondering how i might teach myself to code just to make said app, when i realized that i have never had an original thought so the app definitely exists— a google search, download, and some time later, and im here giving 5 stars to a phenomenally executed and wonderful concept. only downside is i hate the ponytail hairstyle lol. but this app is!!! i have already had todo lists and task lists my entire life, but to gamify it all is a fun + rewarding way to ensure i feel like i “want” to do the sidequests (my chores).
I was recommended this app by my therapist, and the customization of the to-do’s and dailies helps me remember small tasks like remembering to brush my teeth. The to-do list is good to help me remember homework, since I have no object permanence when it comes to assignments. However, the app does have some small issues, since the widgets have a weird border, and one time, after completing a quest, I had roughly 1030 XP out of 440 required to level up. This glitch fixed itself after I marked a daily off, and shot me from Level 20 to Level 22. The game also has a lovely community, as everyone’s working to be a better version of themselves to some degree. Overall, keeps me productive, but has some smaller issues that understandably could be a dealbreaker for some.
I’ve loved using this app on and off for 8 years now, but it sucks to see it’s most unique features - guilds and taverns - removed. They created community and a sense of cheering each other on to complete things. Now, it’s just another task list with rpg leveling. I hope they bring these features back.
widgets now have a wide black border, making them unreadable and unsightly, please fix!
Um this may be a dumb question but when i send a invite to my friends and they accept it says it’s still pending please fix that bug or do whatever
