The app throws a lot of unhandled errors and when I contacted customer service they treat you like you don’t know better and that the app is working fine. I am blocked from making deals they claim that I am a new traveller. However I have had many trips before with successful deals. The number of deals show as 0 on my profile but you can still check them out from my previous trips. I contacted customer service about this multiple times and they never get back to me.

They will do their best to steal your money.

They will charge you about 10 $ as an insurance for the shipment, but when the worst case scenario happens and your shipment could be stolen by the receiver ( in my case , he received the shipment but claimed that he didn’t) and if you contacted the app customer services. They will call you a lot and try to argue with nonesence and then they will hit you with the statement) that your shipment is non insured . Basically I doubt that they even have a partnership with any insurance at all . That app is from Egypt, so don’t except more than the Egyptian quality of service which is not the best.

Just be aware guys , if anything happened you will never find any support, customer service is very slow and unprofessional, the app needs lots of improvement, i had the worst experience dealing with them

So...you install this app thinking it is in Arabic / English. (As stated in the description) Great. Yeah right.!!! You install and then open the app. All in Arabic. Is there a button to switch to English? Don’t get your hopes up because the answer to that is : Nope! So, it is useless. Solve this problem and it might be a good app.

خدمه هتبقي افضل لو hitchhiker بتوضح بيانات اللي محتاجها علشان verification مفيش حاجه اسمها انك تجمع باسبورات وبطايق المستخدمين بشكل عشوائي علشان خدمه بتقدمها من غير ما توضح انت عايز انهي بيانات بالظبط من مستند تحقيق الشخصيه ..انت محتاج الاسم ولا العنوان ولا الرقم القومي ولا عاوز ايه بالظبط ...كونك بتمتلك مستند هويه كامل ده في حد ذاته غلط لانه بيسهل سرقه هويه المستخدمين ..اتمني حد يرد عليا ويديني رد منطقي علشان انا فعلا عايز استخدم خدمه بس عمري ما شفت حد في المانيا بيطلب او بيجبر مستخدم علي اعطاء مستند هويه كامل بالشكل اللي انت طالبينه ده حتي couchsurfing اللي بيقدم خدمه اكتر تعقيدا منكم مخلي الموضوع ده اختياري!!

The customer service doesn’t exists. If you faced any issue, good luck finding them to get a decent reply!

Good buyer

After placing an order and providing all necessary shipment details, I received my product from the traveler without any issues. However, when I attempted to leave a positive review for the traveler, I was stunned to discover that my account had been banned. Seeking clarification, I reached out to their support team, only to be met with vague responses and no resolution. Despite being charged for the service and successfully receiving my order, Hitchhiker deemed my shipment details invalid and banned my account without explanation. It's absurd to be penalized for information that was accepted at the time of booking and led to a successful delivery. The lack of transparency and accountability from Hitchhiker's support team is unacceptable. They have provided no valid reason for my account being banned and have ignored my attempts to seek clarification. It's evident that Hitchhiker's customer service is subpar, and their banning practices are unfair and arbitrary.
