Phone is connected to Bluetooth charge 3 but app cant find the product. It ask for connect Bluetooth

My phone pairs fine with both speakers and the speakers pair with each other but every time I try to open the app to set it to stereo it tells me to turn on my blue tooth and connect the devices. It does this if the blue tooth is turned on or not and it does this regardless of the situation. Why does this happen? Luckily the devices pair fine but what a shame I can’t use the app
