KEF Control

I’ve had these speakers for two years, kept up with the software updates, and they are still a nightmare of trial and error to connect to. All I can assume is the company truly doesn’t care. I got them free as part of my company’s rewards program. They’re not even worth free. The sound quality is great but they should pay me for all the lost hours I’ve spent trying to connect via bluetooth. KEF, it’s time to stop hiring the CEO’s 15 year-old nephew to write the software and hire a real programmer. Stop sending me offers to buy your other speakers, I’ll never buy another pair until you fix the crap you already have out there.

Great speaker, great sound Let down so badly by crap software and an awful interface It’s so hard to try connect to these speakers - the KEF control is appalling … why you even need it is beyond me

Doesn’t work on both iOS and Android. Especially terrible for travelers who need to reconnect to a new Wifi at every new location. ALL the speaker settings has to be reset for that. Just awful. I ended up with using an analogue AUX (RCA) cabel to use that piece of a wireless madness. Drives me crazy. And I’m a professional BLE apps engineer. Give my money back please.

Same here can’t connect to speaker Bluetooth doesn’t to work I reboot get new app restart reset nothing save your money get something else

The app won’t recognize the speakers therefore I can’t set them up update etc .This needs to be fixed.This isn’t the quality from KEF I’m used to

Spent 3 hours trying to get my LSX speakers working. There seems to be serious defect in the device’s networking. Seems to be working now, but time will tell.

What a terriable app!

I read the reviews of the KEF LSX speakers before I bought them, so I have to say I knew about the problems with Control and Stream. But, I thought surely a company like KEF would fix the problems. No way. KEF customer service doesn’t even respond to requests for help. Most days, when I have time to listen I spend most of my time trying to get the software to connect to the speakers instead of listening to music. Sometimes Control sees the speakers, but Stream doesn’t. Then there’s the static sound, especially in the right speaker. The problems are countless. I’m either getting rid of them, or I’ll have to get an external streamer and connect to the speakers via Toslink. What a nightmare!

Enough said. Latest update rendered speakers unusable. Shocking low app skill for high quality speakers. You got to do a complete breakdown analysis and fix asap. This is damaging your reputation at high scale
