Laundryheap: On-Demand Laundry

When I needed my sheets washed I was surprised at the efficiency and punctuality with which the job was done. Recently I had a trip overseas and did not have time to wash so I availed of their services again. The laundry is always well washed, dried, and folded. I will try to get into a weekly schedule and also avail of ironing service for my pants and shirts.

They blamed the driver for failure to deliver as scheduled. Didn’t explain why. Told me not to worry. Promised to prioritize delivering to my hotel 1pm the next day, knowing that I was checking out from my hotel, and flying out with no definite date of return. 1pm became 2pm, then 3pm. Paid my hotel GBP70 to keep my room to be able to pack when my clothes arrive. Tracker showed the driver being 5 mins away at around 2:40pm. Then the tracker switched off. I asked thru chat where the driver was to know if I can still wait. Had 1 precious jacket in that laundry. I Then was notified that the driver won’t be able to make it and that I will be transferred to the settlement department which doesn’t open until Monday. This happened on a Saturday. Now Im at the airport without half my clothes. The driver could’ve made it if he really wanted to. I went thru London traffic and saw the protests and he couldve avoided it. Can’t help but think that my laundry has been damaged/stolen/lost. I haven’t been shown any proof that my clothes are alive, and the effort to deliver before I check out seems fake.

I was excited to try out this laundry shop/app here in Abu Dhabi. But after seeing the liquidation of our bill I was shocked and disappointed. We gave 1 single bed duvet, 2 queen sized duvet and 1 bathroom carpet. 1. The size they placed is 1 double size and 2 kingsize. Idk where they got the ideas of placing the exact size of a bed to a duvet. It is common sense that duvets will be bigger in size compared to bed sizes. That should be cleared in there price list or even inform us about it. 2. Our bathroom carpet is still dirty and became very hard to touch. I expected them to atleast clean it properly. In the end i will have to send it to the laundry again. AND IT STILL SMELLS BAD. 3. Everything did not smell pleasant. All in all. I will not be doing my laundry service ever again at this laundry app/shop. It was a waste of money and total rip off in terms of “pricing conditions” which we were happy to pay IF it was the actual sizes. Money was never a problem but we pay for proper service and we are not satisfied with their service.

The first service was good. The second time is not, most of my white shirts turned yellowish and was not properly folded either.

Booking with them was convenient and easy. The pick up and drop off was efficient and you can actually track where is the driver on the app. Price is okay and I can recommend it everyone. Thanks for a good service.

Collected and delivered on time. No missing piece. Clothes and sheets smell fresh! Was expecting folding would be better. Other than that, everything went well. Already booked second order!

The collection and pick up is within 24hrs which us great for me as I am always busy. So less time for me to go a laundry shop and queue up.

It’s my first time to try Laundryheap. We stayed in a DTLA hotel and had to stay longer than planned. So we had to have our clothes washed. A friend recommended Laundryheap. We booked through the app and left the laundry bag in the lobby/front desk. The next day, we received our clothes cleaned and folded. We got the mixed wash service. Very happy with the service. Highly recommend this.
