Upload files from your smartphone or tablet, then search, store, download, stream, view, share, rename or delete them any time, from any device, anywhere. Share folders with your contacts and see their updates in real time.
MEGA’s strong and secure end-to-end encryption means we cannot access or reset your password for you. You MUST remember your password and make sure to back up your account recovery key, which is used to reset your password. Losing your password and the account recovery key will result in lost access to your files.
Enjoy the security and privacy of encrypted one-on-one and group chats and meetings. Our zero-knowledge encryption means that your messages, audio and video calls are safe, secure, and private. Automatically deleted all my files
I uploaded 24 gb photos and this app deleted all my data without my permission
Avoid Mega at all costs.
Their website is misleading. Their support staff are rude and unhelpful. I cancelled my subscription and then constantly receiving spam emails threatening to delete my data - despite my response being a request to stop and to delete my data and account, the emails persist - then Mega begins to threaten to charge me for the data “being used by” an account I don’t want or use. Abhorrent.

I like this app for making edits don’t get me wrong, it makes transporting clips so much better. But it doesn’t give you enough storage with the free thing
this app makes me so mad.
i’m an editor so i download movies through mega. i tried downloading a movie and it said i had no disk space? i have literally 1 singular other movie downloaded on mega and that’s it. so then i though i had no storage on my phone or smth but no. i’ve got 5 gb free. i then deleted the app and redownloaded it to see if that would work. but now i’m logged out my account and won’t let me back in. i’m trying to make a new one but it won’t send me a god damn confirmation email. I HAVE BEEN WAITING 15 MINUTES WHERE TF IS MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL MEGA. i tried signing up again and IT WONT LOAD?!
Unreliable & Data loss
I’ve got gigs worth of space left. Files that were in folders yesterday on iOS and iPad OS now do not show- despite all the files appearing online and on my Mac. Within both iPad and iOS versions of this app the folders with missing data show file counts that are correct, but no data within. Apart from data loss the iOS and iPad version of this app are incredibly slow. Painfully slow to load a small photo. It’s not worth using this app.
Garbage App and Service
With free account you can’t even watch your 2 minutes uploaded video in 24 Hours because you are a free user, seriously!!! App is slow and glitchy and paid plans are super expensive. No to MEGA
Speed downloading and quota limits…🤕
MEGA is a really good app overall which I can download videos and stuff which I use for edits but the downloading speed is really slow if I don’t keep the app on. This is not a very huge issue and I can deal with it. Quota limits are sooooo annoying. I know theres like stuff in the software and things but may you please just make the quota limit lesser? Sometimes I really don’t want to wait the long hours. 🤷♀️

Currently trying to make an account, and I have resent this stupid verification thing REPEATEDLY ( my email address was spelt correctly ) and it’s not showing up, if that’s a bug please fix it
