Have tried for 2 1/2 weeks to connect my new tumble dryer. App is useless!

Like other reviewers I have tried without success to link my fabulous tumble dryer to this ludicrous app. The only reason it’s got a 2.7 rating is because someone reviewed their machine and not the app! I’ve given up with it now, on the basis that life is too short - I’ve spent the last 40 years walking out to see if it’s finished so why change now? Can’t work out why the manufacturers of such great appliances can’t sort this out.

We like/need the settings come with the app but it doesn’t work half the time. Tired of turning washing machine on and off again. One day it works fine other day it doesnt work at all… please fix the connectivity problem…

Unfortunately the idea is good of having the app, but the execution is very poor. By comparison the AEG dryer still not managed to connect it or anything. The LG washing machine, 2 minutes and all working with its app just fine. Poor app development AEG…

I like the idea but i think the app needs polishing. Connected Dryer easily but had trouble with the washer. I’d like my app to notify me when wash is finished but it doesn’t. Not as simple as i’d thought to use! Hopefully future updates will improve. And maybe eventually the app can unload the washing, iron it and put it away! You never know!

Top-of-the-line tumble dryer not pairing! It cannot be connected manually or finded by the QR code either. Sooo Sad....

I’ve had the machine for six months now and must say I’m impressed. The size of the drum is huge, the 1600 spin means that clothes come out almost dry. The economy programmes mean that energy and water consumption are kept in check. And the washing results are great. I haven’t used every programme but even the quick washes give great results. I’m keeping an eye on the pennies and this machine is a great help. Four stars is no slight, I would give five if I’d used all the programmes but can’t speak for them at present. So far, so good!

How can a company who makes such quality equipment release such a terrible app?? Clearly none of the devs use the app, or they would never have released it. I would suggest you employ new devs!! It took me hours to onboard my new washing machine (I have the correct settings) and now the appliance has been sat in “waiting for mandatory update” for seven hours. Are you not embarrassed by the fact that you have only received one star on the App Store?

Connecting the washer to app was buggy, and the first registration failed. This failed registration now spams me. The successful registration is useful for notification at end of wash, but remote start is problematic. Trying to use the app on two mobile devices has also proved problematic.

I’ve just swapped my Bosch wax32 series 8 washing machine for series 8 oko wash AEG the apps are chalk and cheese, Bosch is fantastic and easy to use never a problem in 2 years AEG app absolutely useless, wasted hours on it and 2 calls to customer service both useless…..
