Be real careful, they will double charge you.
Continued headaches booking travel
with this app. They will put through multiple holds on your credit card for a single trip, and I’ve had repeated issues where my credit card gets fully maxed out and becomes unusable.
Their support will not get back to you for 3 days so you’d better be able to double pay whilst they sort it out or you can expect serious credit card fees.
I wish I could give Navan 0 stars. Terrible customer service and a major headache and time waste compared to booking direct.
Can’t log in
Can’t log in via SSO for a corporate trip.
Genuinely horrible customer support
Travel apps and booking aggregators are known to be generally fairly bad. Navan takes this well deserved reputation to a completely different level with some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had the misfortune of encountering.
If you work in travel or procurement, PLEASE avoid them. There’s nothing worse you could do for your employees.
If you’re an employee, take every chance possible to make representations to your employer to stop using this miserable service.
Login fails, can’t get much more broken
When you login via the required 2FA, it opens a web browser, logs in, and if you click open in app in the browser, the app remains at a login screen, and you can repeat the pointless cycle.
Why have an app at all if you can’t even login. Such a basic failure.
Latest version breaks interface
Latest version breaks how trips are viewed.
My outbound flight has 2 sectors - TripActions only shows the second sector, can’t select the first sector.
Return flights only shows the first sector and you can’t select the second sector. Makes the app all but useless on the iPhone.
Buggy
Scrolling all the way down the home page will crash the app
Jams up
I’m half way through a chat session and it won’t let me send a message. I have no idea whether I have a booking or not. Arghhh!
ipad app
Would like to see an ipad app too.
Needs to clarify currency.
Hotels seem much more expensive in trip actions versus booking direct. Then again ‘$’ doesn’t really make it clear what the currency is when using the app overseas.
Stay away
Garbage app and if you actually read the EULA they WILL sell your data to third party companies
