Love this app and its science-based approach, it’s awesome. Currently, however, it’s miscalculating my calorie need by a full 1000 or more, if I actually eat as much as the app tells me to, I’d be rapidly putting on weight. This fundamental error really is confusing and works kind of bad as it’s at the core of the app.
Wish they would have a discount for returning customers
Noom asked me to eat 1200 kcal when I’m a 180cm super active person and validated me when I was restricting so much, that it was dangerous for my life. Not only the app but also the coach! It made my eating disorder the worst in years. Do not use it. It sells a “healthy” lifestyle, and it’s a diet. It tells you to eat “intuitively” while still labeling food as red, orange, and green. If you want to eat healthy, read about intuitive eating and stay away from this app!!
App has a 1hour setup and THEN asks you to pay over $50 a month??

It said personal plan but its just me filling in what I eat and my excersises. Not much help.
Very good and informative. Helped me change my mindset. But after my two (!) subscriptions ended, everything I saved and wanted to read again disappeared. I thought I would still be able to read what I had bought and keep the account, but without help. Was abruptly evicted and all was lost. It's like buying factual literature for a class but as soon as I've finished reading I have to throw away everything I've read and written down. Got so frustrated by this that the positive experience I had was turned into something else. Not a good ending. That’s sad for something that is really good.
I loved trying out noom but it's just too hard entering foods if you are outside north America. Non of the regular brands of my area is in the database and measurements don't come naturally if your from the northern parts of Europe. Sutch a shame as the app is so good.

A really overpriced app with relatively ok content. A bit too informal, but I guess people talk Lima that nowadays. Currently not working for me as I try to log in an item of a meal. The app just closes down. After paying whooping 700sek doesn’t feel good at all. Let’s see how much time it takes for them to fix this.
