OpenTable: Restaurant Bookings

The website is thrash. Unable to book. Afterwhich I downloaded the app and made the booking. Now that I wanna modify the booking/make additional booking it kept saying the app is unable to communicate with the restaurant. This app serves nothing but frustration.

Extremely unpleasant because the restaurants I visited did not credit the points to me

The Setting and Ambiance of the place is Awesome. It’s Beautiful! Nice touch too with the Sikh Guard at the gate . We had the set dinner menus which was exceptional in terms of taste and quality . The portions were ample and the Foie Gras And Salmon starters were very good . We had the Roast Belly Pork which had a local twist served with fried Hor Fun ( flat rice noodles ) which was deliciously different . Dessert was a bit of a let down for me ; I found that the Sherry Trifle had too much alcohol in it so that it completely overwhelmed the taste of everything else in the dish. The Bread pudding However was “out of this world “ Good ! The one major “let down” in this otherwise exceptional evening was the service . The waiters were very polite and friendly but very “ lacking” in service training. The waiter couldn’t tell us more than the fact the red house pour was Spanish . There was also no price list for single pours and he had to literally write down the prices for all the drinks we inquired about - whiskey , and single glass house pours . It would ya e been nice to have 2 selections ea h of the red and White House pours . We were wrongly served twice with food meant for another table and when it came to ordering dessert we were given the wrong dessert menu . None of the waiters came to ask if everything was ok or if we wanted to order coffee with the dessert . It would also have been nice if they had spread out the occupied tables so as to give some “ privacy “ instead of seating everyone together and leaving the empty tables at the sides . These are little things that matter in a restaurant that touts Fine Dining . Even the unhemmed waiter’s jacket should had been corrected before the restaurant opened . So all in all it was a lovely experience which could have been better with better staff training and care of the “ little “ things .

Easy to use and efficient !

Keeps sending me to get texted number By time I revert the site requires that I start again

Though finding and scheduling is great but then trying to reserve is a different story. Verification code and verification code. Lately I just use the app to see what’s available then call the restaurant direct.

They have changed their menu and a place that we used to enjoy has become a place we will not return to. It’s really a shame. We have been eating there for 20 + years we it’s the same menu and in one menu change they have ruined it for us.

Let’s make it a date!
