OYO: Hotel Booking App & Deals

Tried completing the payment through PayPal and after successful payment at PayPal. It didn’t redirected me back to app. Unfortunately I tried multiple times using PayPal and it didn’t redirected me back even once. I taught payment didn’t go through. After some time when I went back in to app. It showed 4 booking. When I reached out to oyo team and explained them the situation and requested for a refund they didn’t issued a refund. In this era of AI, I have never seen a app where it automatically picks check out date to next day, once I picked the checkin date during a reservation, Picking the reservation dates while booking is so irritating. Suggestion to app developers: try copying the date picker from AIRBNB app. It is way more convenient

I booked oyo room from booking.com . Their system is hacked and some fraud message me telling he is from oyo team and scammed me. When I checked oyo team they have told their are not responsible for these. Beware of these oyo system . Try to stay away from them as possible

Beware for scams. I booked a motel for Portland Oregon and it double charged me for some random hotel in India. Customer service is not helpful. Had to get my bank to cancel the charges to India.

I saw an interview of how the hotel started, and stayed with them a few times to support the vision. I was glad that I worked hard to stay there a night, but sad about the quality of room and how I was treated. Although the bed was spacious, everything was dirty in the room. I turned in my key and packed on time, but my dignity was questioned. I was followed around night and day, and they wanted to check if I had another person in the room with me. I had higher expectations. I was promised a $50 upon login of the app, but there is nothing to show for it. I do like the feature of the app where you can search by city and it has the different communities sorted. I see that some locations have good reviews, so it is better to stick to those.

I cannot use the money that I obtain in my motel wallet app

Every time I try to book a room through OYO, it is always a problem with booking price. If you book one room at price X, the hotel owner will demand for 2X. If you don't pay the extra, they will not provide you the room. At last you have to pay for it since you tired and don't want any further hustle. A f**** booking app in India. No ethics nothing. I don't know how they are planing to bring IPO. Hats off to the founder and MD. No proper customer support also.

Unreliable and incompetent business format. I booked a hotel through OYO in Thailand, I showed up only to hear the hotel was permanently closed. So not only did I have to go way out of my way to get there, there’s absolutely no way to contact OYO. They shoot a bunch of fake numbers around to contact “customer service”. The chat feature is a bot with limited help. The chat issued me a refund for 2 of the 3 nights I had booked with this nonexistent hotel and then also charged me a nice size cancellation fee. I can’t believe how crappy this company is. Avoid at all cost

I have tried to book 2 Hotels via OYO in Kazhakkoottam, Trivandrum area, first time I even did the payment via the app then when I contacted the hotel they informed the booking money is not enough and I have to cancel for getting refund.Same issue happened for my next booking.In general the hotels are saying they are not in OYO network but still showing the listing.Dont trust this app if you trust this app and book by the time you reach the OYO room you will get deceived.This is the worst app I have ever used.BTW my refund is not yet complete.

I rented a room for two nights and was rejected access to my room, i called over 10 times to make sure i could be 18 to get a room and all of them said yes but when i get there they wouldnt let me, and they proceeded to tell me i cant get a refund of any sort
