Good but Needs to catch up

Needs a UI refresh and still has long standing playback issues (skipping backwards, not playing) but still great

PocketCast is the perfect podcast app, in my opinion. It has all the features that I need - Dark mode, speed, sleep timer, download… But my favourite feature is the regular software update poem! I stop to read these updates only!! Please keep this going!

Can’t use Chromecast since update

Have been using for a year or so on my iPhone but since the last update I can no longer Chromecast to my google home device. Have had to switch to a different podcast app which is a shame as I was previously very happy with this one.

Could be great

Has been a solid app until recently. Apps fail to start playing, parts get repeated, parts get skipped through. Honestly not sure what’s going on here as I’m not the only person with these issues. It’s a shame as it could be great

Best podcast player

Have tried others and this one is the best. Pocket casts Engle’s Fine grained control of filters and downloads so you can create playlists based on the podcast ( not only episodes like Spotify)

Playback glitches

The app is great overall but the playback glitches need to be resolved. (Random skips etc) Ugh

I’m moving on

This app was great but I’m sick of the skipping ahead or the going back several minutes this app seems to love to do. It’s driving me up the wall so I need to find something else.

Only app I use every day

I can’t say enough good things about this app might go to app for all podcasting

Great for listening to podcasts exactly how you want

Pocketcasts is always the app I recommend for podcasts because it is so full featured and customisable, so as to offer any user what they need. A standout for me is the syncing between apps and the web client. They recently changed the name of my “Lifetime Membership” to “Pocketcasts Champion”. So I imagine they’re laying the groundwork to make me start paying.
