Routine: Calendars & Tasks

Tres bon concept d’appli, elle est a ses debut et elle manque de quelques corrections Certaines taches passées non cochées disparaissent L’appli mobile est ultra beuguer c’est insupportable J’attend avec impacience la fluidification de cette appli et l’ajout de nouvelles choses !

Strengths of the Routine app : Clear, clean, and beautiful interface. Beautiful colors in both dark and light themes. Synchronization with Google Calendar Ability to manage tasks and events with intelligence and fluidity Very well thought out and beautiful Agenda view, combining unscheduled tasks, scheduled tasks, one-time events, and recurring events Best alternative to gCal in my opinion Calendar view with tasks listed below the days is excellent Weaknesses: Synchronization with gCal is slow (compared to Morgen) Long loading time at opening and refreshing No offline access to notes No possibility to zoom out on the view to display more events (in Agenda view or Calendar view) No option to hide certain hours (23:00 → 6:00) Recurring tasks do not work (neither on Windows nor on iPhone) Suggest changing views (3 days, 5 days, week, month) in the Calendar tab) Add a year view (it's really nice to see the projects we carry out over a year) No priority filters on tasks The hour progress bar in the agenda view is horizontal. Routine would benefit from taking inspiration from Structured for this. Vertical view and coloring based on progress (see Structured for understanding) In the tasks tab, I would like to see a homepage where the 3 available views (unplanned, recurrence, upcoming) for a better vision and thus management of tasks and time I don't understand why the Meetings tab is located in the Notes tab. I use notes for my shopping for example, or to jot down thoughts that I then integrate into my notion Integration and connection with notion not functional Keyboard shortcuts not functional on browser Not everything that is advertised on the website is currently available or fully functional in the application today.

Parfait pour améliorer sa productivité

It’s a typical calendar app but I don’t understand how to sync my google account to this app any instructions I find just tells me to download the app and go through that process which I’ve done but nothing has synced.

Would love to use it, but it crashes on boot. Started happening after I set up my Google calendar and opted to view a non-default Google calendar as my main calendar in Routine. Hopefully this gets fixed. Happy to update my review then.

I really like this app. It’s beautiful and has a lot of potential. I’ve downloaded it multiple times but I’ve also gotten rid of it multiple times. I just can’t use it as a ‘productivity’ app when it’s clearly got some optimization issues. Compared to other named productivity apps it’s just not up to par. I still plan to come back should the app be optimized better.

AMAZING I love it. It’s got a schedule view for the day, an adjustable calendar view that is pretty much PERFECT. The only downside is the calendar takes a second to load upon opening the app, otherwise amazing. My only real criticism is that, and that when typing in the notes area on the calendar events, it likes to scroll all the way to the bottom or to the top opposite of where you click, no option to minimize the section that shows pictures of your pages at the top, and that YOU CANT MAKE REOCCURRING EVENTS or change the color of them. I know it’s connected to google calendar, but still would be nice to not have to switch apps just to make a reoccurring event. Can’t wait to see this app progress and love it already. - side note of concern: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep it free, if you do add a paid version, just make it so you get extra stuff, and not that the free version is limiting. Ex: don’t restrict number of pages/tasks. Just make the paid version so you can change the colors and theme of the app and icon. Just keep it to being additional customization rather than unlocking restrictions.

App is almost perfect. A lot of premium features for free and plenty of tools to make to do lists and planning ahead for the week. The only thing really missing is tags for different tasks.

As a productivity app, this gets in the way of itself and productivity. It takes a whole 15 seconds to load, doesn’t work without an internet connection, and crashes regularly. These fixes have been promised for years now and are now listed behind a ridiculously priced paywall subscription for some still unknown date. It seems the developers are more concerned with adding new features, rather than making the current ones actually usable. This app has soo much potential to be your one, every solution app. Unfortunately, until these issues are fixed it won’t be.
