SAS – Scandinavian Airlines

Travel Apps are hard to get right, but then Airlines are not the smallest fish in the pond. Yet, many big airlines totally fail on building useful and enjoyable apps. This app is an extreme case that demonstrates how it is not done. It possibly even violates the iOS style guide. It has so many flaws that I wonder whether the SAS management ever tried using it.

As a frequent traveller of SAS I really like this APP. It is easy to use and helps a lot passing quickly through security at airports. Also helpful for check-in and selecting seats, partially also for other Star alliance carriers.

The app manipulated me into buying tickets separately because i wanted to book 2 different types of tickets. But after buying 1 ticket it increased the price drastically. Even when the tickets of the same price class was available. I know because it gave me the option to book 2 new tickets with the same (old) price. But to do that I had to buy 2 tickets. Customer service didn’t help or try to understand me at all. They instead hung up on me after I waited 2 hrs in queue to talk with them and described my issue to them. Very bad service and I know that writing this won’t help either. This is such BS!

I love the app. I have amongst a lot of useful functionality used the luggage functionality to check status. But now it only shows “accepted” and I need to access it from the app notification. Is this by design or a bug ?

Service trash. Nokk til at æ har lyst til at dem i kundeservice avdelingen skal henge dem selv.

Why SAS app cannot log in using face id or something that is easy? I cannot remember how many times I have reset my password with sas. I really hate this app and the idiots who developed it. Irritating! Just like the airline.

Mengden funksjonalitet de har klart å putte i denne appen er imponerende

hvordan finner vi en grei oversikt over direkteruter med sas fra stavanger? nettsidene deres, og for såvidt også andre selskapers nettsider, er håpløst dårlige å manøvere i for oss som vil fort frem og som kan tenke oss spontanvalg av reisemål. det er MYE å hente på å øke tilbudene og prisene? bare reisemålene er å oppdrive!!

Umulig å finne returflight i app- langt mindre sjekke inn- utrolig dårlig interface
