Sennheiser Smart Control

The buds are almost perfect but the app is total failure!!! Without the app the buds working perfect. No issues. Using the app to gain more features and enhance audio is not the easiest thing! Cannot hold stable connection some times. The app crashing and re opens many time and trying to configure the set up again in a loop. In that process the app itself disconnecting and re connecting the buds. I think it is time for developers to update the app.

Can’t detect headphones half the time Goes unresponsive within 5m of use Firmware update is incredibly slow and unreliable I already wasn’t too happy with my momentum 4 headphones, this app made me actively hate them.

The application runs almost perfectly as well as my brand new earbuds. The only downside I have experienced which I believe it is an application-side bug is that I cannot activate transparency mode while using 1 earbud within the app (no issues when both earbuds are being used) . As a workaround I can only activate it with the assigned gesture (tripple tap on my earbud). Therefore I am limited to using only the left one since the transparency gesture is assigned to my left earbud. On the right earbud I have ANC mode which gets enabled/disabled also by tripple tapping it. I am hoping and I am looking forward to Sennheiser’s reply on my comment and if there could be a possible fix with a future update. Nevertheless I am very pleased with my product as a whole!

Nice app, as simple as it gets. It would be great a parametric equalizer, some simple bass-treble settings ect. Otherwise i dont see any reason for downloading the specific app. Thought , It is nice having multiple devices and battery percentage.

I was using the awful cap tune app for 2 years with my PXC-550. The app is day vs night with cap tune. Well done.

I am relatively new to the Sennheiser app, having recently purchased the Momentum 4. I also have the Sony wh-1000mx3 and Bose Quiet comfort 30 ear buds. The Momentum 4 sound amazing. I like the transparency mode and adaptive noise cancellation, but it would be nice to be able to turn off ANC and just have the noise cancellation. It would be also nice to have an option to completely turn off the equalizer. Lastly the Bose and Sony apps both show what is playing while the Sennheiser app does not. Maybe these can be added in a software update.

Won’t connect. Claims my Bluetooth is not on when it is. Useless

Got a pair of HD450bts and they’re not pairing. Tried all the FAQs, turned my phone off, cleared all past connections on the headset, forgot pairing on my iPhones pairing, app will not recognize my headphones that are already connected to the phone via Bluetooth.

App couldn’t find my headphones. I know that the headphones are working so,,,
