Sennheiser Smart Control

I’m disappointed that the Sennheiser Accentum headphones don’t allow users to fully deactivate both noise-canceling and transparency modes simultaneously. Sometimes, I just want to use neutral setting without any audio processing, but that’s not possible with this design. This restriction takes away from the flexibility and natural listening experience I expected, especially from a brand like Sennheiser.

App have a good clear design but compared to other brands, this app could do better. The app doesn’t show or allow to turn on/off the ANC feature, and since it’s really hard to figure out when it’s on or off (as it sounds exactly the same on a BT450) that will be a must. Also, it doesn’t include some sort of “Ambient Aware” feature to promote safety when walking outdoors, and since it already has built-in microphones that could easily be integrated via firmware. A timer for auto power off if no audio plays for some time will be great. Also, a device factory reset via app since it doesn’t work or seems so by using the physical buttons. And if you try to write feedback inside the app you get a crash with the error “…an expected error occurred…”. As for firmware, upgrades take way too long when compared to any other smart devices on the market, and the device voice for power up/down sounds terribly thin. And for some reason no voice when switching ANC on/off? I expected more from Sennheiser…

Using this app with cx400bt is super easy. If there is any possibility, transparency mode to cx400bt makes my experience 100%.

Easy to download and easy to use. The functionality on the headphones in conjunction with the sound platform on the app is excellent.

Tried everything. Followed help guidelines, no luck in connecting my earphones, gave up with frustration and deleted app. They don’t make at all easy

Deleted and reinstalled and still won’t connect! Headphones are working with phone but app won’t connect! One word - useless

I am relatively new to the Sennheiser app, having recently purchased the Momentum 4. I also have the Sony wh-1000mx3 and Bose Quiet comfort 30 ear buds. The Momentum 4 sound amazing. I like the transparency mode and adaptive noise cancellation, but it would be nice to be able to turn off ANC and just have the noise cancellation. It would be also nice to have an option to completely turn off the equalizer. Lastly the Bose and Sony apps both show what is playing while the Sennheiser app does not. Maybe these can be added in a software update.

Won’t connect. Claims my Bluetooth is not on when it is. Useless

Got a pair of HD450bts and they’re not pairing. Tried all the FAQs, turned my phone off, cleared all past connections on the headset, forgot pairing on my iPhones pairing, app will not recognize my headphones that are already connected to the phone via Bluetooth.

App couldn’t find my headphones. I know that the headphones are working so,,,
