Shell Recharge

When trying to login, I receive the SMS and get the message “Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later”. Helpdesk admitted there is a fault, but issue never fixed.

The December update says before I can use it I have to update my communication preferences. But when I go through the embedded browser process to do that and then hit the "go back to the app" button I get a message "oops, something went wrong". The good news: Octopus Electroverse app and card works with shell DC chargers. You do not need this app any more. I've deleted it

Doesn’t allow you to see the charge points and where they are!! Jumps around d the map back to your location so as you are searching through map, jumps back to same level of zoom on your location. Half the charge points don’t work/no QR code. Customer service is non-existent/utterly useless

Multiple 2-step verification processes; constant logging out; cannot see any user benefit to this app.

Latest frustrating bug is caught in a loop trying to approve shells own preferences for their offers and after login in and saving keeps coming up with ' ops something went wrong' can't get anywhere past it to do stuff like charging - u know the main reason for using the app!!!

Use to work for charging but no longer as they removed the QR code to pay and have stopped shell card orders so absolutely no point in the app. On top of that most of the chargers won’t except a debit card for charging so shell ev chargers have become obsolete to me which is sad and inconvenient. On top of this I have emailed them a few times over a couple of months ago and you will not get a reply to help so just don’t bother with it and find a different supplier

I have been trying to add a payment method for more than 1 month with no success

Every time i need to look up the nearest point OR to load my charging history OR simply query any other information – it takes several minutes to load. And quite often the application fails to return the requested info, so you need to start over by killing the app. It happens all the time, and i am just curious, why is it so bad? Is it intentionally made?

Recently updated and now every time it asks for the login details and OTP authentication which drives me nuts. Please fix this!

This is by far the best charging experience I’ve had. It’s very smooth and responsive unlike its competitors who some require you to swipe on the phone and plug the tethered cable at the same time (which is almost impossible especially with a heavy 50kw cable). I love this app, but I just had my worst experience as it keeps logging me out almost everytime. I have to log in which is easy with the passwords saved, but then it forces you to do your profile when I’ve already done it a year ago. Why force me now to do the communications preferences when I’m in the middle of the road, cold and just want to charge. Very annoying. I suggest to e developers should try it for themselves to stand in the 0 degrees and for 10 mins to do a stupid communications tick box.
