When you go to pay (I’m on a 2020 iPad Pro 2nd gen fully updated software and apps) it takes you to the pay screen with all the billing info and asks you to select the payment method but then nothing else happens. Even if you pick a different payment method there’s no further way to enter the amount you want to pay or to enter the details of that payment method. Meaning you can’t pay on the app

Having both solar and storage, I like to see what is going wheee. This app lets me see exactly what I am using, exporting and identify the best time to do those power hungry tasks.

I was expecting the app to give me more information like I used to get from the company

It was working for a good solid amount of time (after not working many months ago) and now I can’t pay by PayPal again. Frustrating .

I wish I didn’t have to login every time. I forget my login details every time.

Hi, I was in a previous electricity provider and I could see daily electricity usage and daily solar generation. This app doesn’t give me information on my solar generation also the daily electricity usage is really hard to navigate and doesn’t show any data on the graph.

I’ve been trying to get an answer on a self read for weeks now and customer service is nonexistent. Should be a simple process but it’s just not!!

Other apps allow you to key in your gas meter’s reading for an estimate on what your gas usage will cost instantly… Simply Energy’s app asks you to send a pic in of your gas meter, so it can then update it in a few days time. What a stupid concept. Update: got a generic response from Simply Energy with the usual “sorry you’re not enjoying our app… let us know your phone and iOS version via this online form so we can help you”. What’s my iOS got anything to do with it? Your app has a stupid slow and outdated feature. Get your developers on the case. I shouldn’t have to fill out a form with my info so your devs do their job. I’ve left a review on apple’s AppStore… maybe that’s a clue to what phone I have??

Signed up to simply energy to get the NRMA discount. The app on iPad looks like it was designed by a child, clunky, no solar or usage data available, UI is embarrassing. App on iPad is almost unusable. No option to submit forms for government rebate, did so via website 10+ days ago and no reply other than the case is closed, but we need to start a new case number in a different system. No substantive action.

Having come from AGL to simply energy, the app is pretty poor in comparison. Viewing usage and solar is on separate tabs - it would make sense to have them both displayed on the same graphic (per time in the day) as in the AGL app. This allows you to figure out if you can adjust usage to increase efficiency of using solar rather than buying in energy. Trying to view the interval usage doesn’t seem to work, it just displays the same time across the whole x-axis and is difficult to ascertain what usage is at a given time. Needs some work - it’s not usable. Can see your monthly usage ok.
