Not free to use
Not very pleased with this app as it takes too long to verify info. No support to talk to over the phone. The only reason I am using this is because it was chosen by a friend for a group trip. I will not use it again in the future.
This app is just not that useful, and I am now inundated with emails that I can’t stop unless I close my account, which, it turns out, is just not that easy to do. Thumbs down
I can’t link a card unless I get the pro version.
The free features are limit to adding 4 expenses in a group, how is this app useful? Then it asks you to buy a subscription of 4.5 dollars per month, its too expensive.
Group errors happen a ton with this app. Great idea, but always issues settling correctly
Splitwise was cool, but you need the pro version otherwise it’s useless. Paying 5$ a month to settle a couple of trips every year is not worth it.
I have been using Splitwise for 5+ years now and have recommended it to many people, but now I will probably delete the app due to the 4 entries per day limit. Coupled with having to watch a 10 second ad to input an entry. This is extremely frustrating and one of the most direct ways I’ve seen an app ruined. I understand charging for premium features, but the app is now basically useless unless you pay. Hoping Splitwise learns and reverts before they lose all their customers.
