Tally: The Anything Tracker

It’s the most beautiful Tally app available. Gorgeous. But that’s the extent of the good points. There is no easy way to reset a tally, if you want to restart for whatever reason, you have to make a new item. There’s not even an option to copy an old item. But even if these features were available, it’s still impossible to justify the subscription fee. 900 yen a year with the pressure-sale discount or 9000 yen a year full price is daylight robbery. Even the still listed (on the store page) 1000 yen one-time full unlock price is on the high end compared to alternatives.

The Apple Watch app still does not work, wondering what the high subscription fee is for if not developed and synced via iCloud or Dropbox.

アップデート後仕様が変わり使いにくくなりました。バックアップデータも読み込めない。。

前回のバージョンアップでバグだらけになり、基本的なカウンタの機能がおかしくなっただけでなくApple Watchとの同期もできなくなりました

Best habit tracking app I’ve used so far

I overall enjoy it and find it easy to use, but for some reason I can never figure out how to subtract a tally (if I accidentally tapped on one and added 1). Should be more self explanatory

When I first downloaded this app I would have rated it 5 stars, it was basically perfect. Then one day it just stopped working, I would feel the little buzz when I would try to add a tally but nothing would happen. I wear my watch everyday, and it would update the active calories burned but since this problem began it hasn’t updated in 19 days. The ONLY way I can get this to work is to backup to iCloud, delete the app, and redownload. If I had to do this once it would be fine, but multiple times a day becomes old. I bought the year subscription hoping that would work but still nothing. I’ve emailed them a few times about this issue, really hoping something would come of it, but I never received a response. I tried everything ranging from redownloading to clearing my storage and nothing worked. Super bummed!

If there is an undo on this, I couldn’t find it. So either the designers somehow didn’t think the was important or they made unnecessarily difficult to find.

Poor or non existent support. Have requested several times regarding printing out notee on entries but yet to get a reply. Has been 2+ years. Else, the app features are great.

Whoever is setting pricing for this needs to do some deep reflection on the value of the service you actually offer. $60 a year for a tracker? It was $12 last year. This is a genuinely INSANE price increase. Used this app for years but will delete it from my life after it expires today.
