Tally: The Anything Tracker

Love how Tally tracks and is so simple to use! I use it everyday to master core habits in growing my business and and success principals across life!

I got this app due to its Apple Watch compatibility. The sync with the watch is spotty, and I end up having to correct the counts in the phone. The app shows a notification badge which I cannot make sense of, nor remove, unless I remove notification permissions. Otherwise, it does what it says it will do, counting things. More than 3 kinds only if you buy it.

Bought this app and it doesn’t exactly what it should... Well it should! Half the time when you try to add a count to a tally it just doesn’t add it. Very small glitch but it extremely frustrating as you do it then you do it again and it counts it twice?! Small but that would make this review a 5 star

I couldn't find a watch complication and having to dig for the app on my watch is only slightly less work than digging out my phone every time I need to tap once. It really makes no sense to not allow users access the app on the Apple Watch. Even home screen or lock screen widgets aren't going to be as convenient or as useful as having a way count on the watch face, like Just Press Record.

It’s buggy

Very easy to accidentally up the tally, no way to undo it. Seems like basic functionality, but alas. Has everything else I was looking for so it’s a bummer.

I got the bundle, the money was taken out of my account, but all the apps ask me to subscribe. When attempting to activate my bundle I am asked to log-in to my account but there’s no where I can create an account to start, and although the subscription shows on my iCloud, restoring my purchase does exactly nothing.

Onboarding was confusing, taught you improper behaviors like tapping on the tally to reveal stats. You can’t remove a tally if you accidentally did (at least I can’t figure out how). And when creating my first tally it was very confusing as it wouldn’t let me add with default count set to 0 (it defaults to 1 when creating but actually displays 0/10). Overall UX needs work

Please think smart. Would you pay a subscription for this app in order to add more sections for your tallies? Please say no. Why? You shouldn’t pay a subscription for this tally app because there’s other great tally apps out there where you can only pay once. $1.99 for a single app that’s for tallying, rather than this. It’s so simple, tallying. Why do you need to pay for something like this when you can do it on paper or pay for another app only once that’s about tallying as well? Don’t get this app unless you’re okay with the limit of the number of sections for tallies you can make or if you just want to spend your money for this, even though I suggest the wiser options I said earlier.

Really good stuff just please remove the “just for you” banner. The timer constantly recycles and I already purchased. Thank you.
