ToonSquid

Toonsquid ist eine echt gute Animations-App, besonders für Anfänger. Die Bedienung ist ziemlich einfach und man findet sich schnell zurecht, auch wenn man noch nie animiert hat. Es gibt ein paar praktische Tools, mit denen man schnell coole Ergebnisse hinbekommt, ohne sich groß einarbeiten zu müssen. Was mich ein bisschen stört, ist die Auswahl an Pinseln – die ist ziemlich begrenzt. Gerade, wenn man ein bisschen mehr rumprobieren möchte, fehlt da einfach was. Ich hoffe, da kommt in Zukunft noch ein Update. Trotzdem macht die App echt Spaß und funktioniert super, wenn man unkompliziert Animationen machen will. Für Anfänger oder Leute, die ein einfaches Programm suchen, ist sie auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Sachen die noch verbessert werden könnten sind z.B. das Bucket feature/ fill in feature.

ToonSquid ist wirklich eine großartige Animations-App. Für mich hat sie alle Features, die ich brauche: Einzelbildanimation, Vektorzeichnen und -animation, Tweens, Verschachtelung, Loops usw. Die Benutzung ist für mich sehr einfach, denn das Interface orientiert sich an den etablierten Animationsprogrammen. Das nur kurz, um dem Entwickler zu danken: DANKE! … jetzt muss ich aber weiter-animieren. Ach ja, es würde mich freuen, wenn ich die App auch am Mac mit einem größeren Bildschirm nutzen könnte.

Noch nie habe ich 10€ für eine App ausgegeben und mir gedacht „das war’s wert“ bis ich Toonsquid fand. Diese App ist die BESTE Animationsapp aller Zeiten. Besonders nützlich sind die Keyframes, welche sehr simpel sind zu benutzen, oder auch die Vector Art Stifte. Auf 30 FPS oder mehr zu animieren ist keine Schwierigkeit mehr mit Toonsquid. Diese App ist sooo underrated und braucht UNBEDINGT mehr Fame!! Gibt euer Geld für diese App aus, das Lohnt sich!

This is 100% worth the prize! (it has a lasso tool unlike *other* animation apps (if ykyk)) I’ve been using Toonsquid for a long time now and I absolutely love it! (You can even make very basic rigs with the transform hierarchy feature which is amazing!!) And the interface is very easy to understand (I am very impatient and never watch tutorials but I understand everything in this app perfectly!) 6/5 stars!! (I wish that would be possible lol)

Amazing what you get here for as little as 10 quid! I used to work with one of the big (and expensive) 2d animation softwares but now I use toonsquid whenever it‘s possible. It‘s so much more fun and so much more intuitive and I enjoy it a lot - which you can see in the outcome. I do miss some features from time to time, some things could be improved for sure, and on bigger projects I still mostly work on my PC due to the clumsy file handling in ipadOS - but apart from that I am blown away and feel very grateful for this app which brought back the fun in animation for me.

Works great, love it. However I would love if it would be possible to save a brush size at the brush to which I can always jump to. I would also love it if more procreate brushes could be imported. And an automatical selection of an area to e.g. fill it would be great Otherwise greatest animation app !

Simple enough to learn the basic functionality in one hour (there are very good tutorials on YouTube!), yet powerful enough for professional work. Only downside is, that the new features of Apples Pencil Pro are not (yet) supported. Hope, the developers will continue working on this superb app!

Ich habe fast alle Animations-Apps ausprobiert. ToonSquid ist eindeutig der Sieger. Die App ist einfach unglaublich toll und für alles konzipiert, was ein Animator braucht. Anfänger benötigen nur etwas Übung, und für Profis mit begrenztem Budget ist ToonSquid absolut empfehlenswert. Ich liebe diese App.

Was soll ich sagen…Danke! Die App hat Hand und Fuß, ihr (die Entwickler) haben sich wirklich Gedanken gemacht wie man auch auf dem iPad vernünftig animieren kann. Weiter so! Aus meiner Sicht gibt es nur noch eine Nuss die es zu knacken gilt und die bisher noch niemand auf dem iPad geknackt hat: Farbpaletten ändern. Also Farbpaletten anlegen, Colorieren und dann die Möglichkeit haben die bereits zugewiesenen Farben projektübergreifende im Nachhinein zu ändern. (siehe Open Toonz) Aber nichts desto trotz GUTE ARBEIT und Danke!

You are getting a far more robust piece of software with this app than with Procreate Dreams. This app comes with a full suite of drawing and editing options - including vital basic artist tools and functionality, such as selection lasso tools, warping tools, customisable resolutions, layer rearrangements, vector lines, convenient timeline automation for resyncing frames (when you remove one, for instance) a customise-able brush engine, easy to read and as intuitive an experience as you're going to get with a complex piece of animation software. The only drawbacks i encountered were that It doesn’t seem to have timeline based layer effects, (such as lens blur or transition effects) and the drawings will crop if they go out of the active area. These are the only two areas where Dreams is “better“, but which isn't worth the price in its current state. Seriously consider ToonSquid first before going for Dreams. Dreams is barely an alpha product as it stands.
