I started using Wix later in 2022 just to build my companies website page. I had used a lot of other marketing companies to build my website and CEO. Which has a lot of integrations that have literally saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars in SCO and marketing expenses. The new platform is easy to use and I’ve built one in the course of six months and see a lot more traffic on my listing as well as my website. If you were paying an absurd amount for these services but you have computer skills of a ninth grader you should be able to use Wix to build your own website

I purchased my domain and started to create my website but the app doesn’t work. Everytime I want to go into the website to edit it it just loads then send an error message. I can’t edit the website at all and it’s extremely frustrating. I hired help through the app and they scammed me, I paid them $480 because they were a company through Wix and they ghosted me after I paid for a professional to build my website. Horrible experience I do not recommend this app to anyone and especially do not hire any professional to build your site through them!

The app lacks a lot of the functionality of the desktop site and none of the marketing tools work for me, I’m unable to create videos or social media posts from the app that actually connect to social media, it doesn’t perform a lot of the functionality that it says it’s going to perform, the price goes up consistently several times a year and they close my payment account with no explanation for why they were keeping it closed. I actually can’t wait to cancel my subscription with this crappy service.

WIX has the absolute worst customer service and does not protect its customers. After 3 years I will be switching away from WIX to a different website host.

When I first started using WIX, I really liked it. It was simple, it was well priced, and didn’t seem loaded down with unnecessary features. If someone asked me, I told them it was a five star deal. Now, after two years, they’ve started playing the same games that so many sneaky subscription products play. First, they got rid of the plan that was working perfectly well for me and replaced it with one that cost 50% more, containing features that I would never use and have never used. They assumed that I wouldn’t notice and that it would auto renew. When I saw what they had done, I went to their website to try and change the plan and that was a real labyrinth. They even used misleading wording by suggesting that the “discounted price“ of the new plan was lower but it was much higher. Eventually, with the help of a real person (who was terrific) on the phone and nearly an hour of my time, I was able to find out how to change the plan to the one that suited me best even though it was still more expensive than the previous plan. At least it wasn’t 50% more expensive. I’m just warning everyone who signs up with WIX that they have to be very careful about how deviously they will play with you once you’ve got your site up and running and really have nowhere else to go at renewal time. Shame on them.

Trying to edit on my phone- gives the option to download the App. I download the App, it goes right back to the option to download the App. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Hate this soooo much

I enjoy the app. It’s easy and user friendly for surface level needs. The reports could use some improvement. They load at a glacial pace and most times never actually load. It can be very frustrating when you don’t have your desktop in front of you.

Completely false advertising. I’m on the manage website section of the app and a message at the top says: “To edit your website, go to your Wix account on desktop”. So then what is the point of the app if I still have to use my desktop to edit my site?
