Pretty reliable app extra HomeKit features would be good
I have found this app to be quite reliable and straight forward to use in the year of so I’ve had my Yale Unity Entrance lock. I like the ability to give time limited access to guest users.
It would be great if the HomeKit integration would allow HomeKit to activate the digital deadlocking function of this lock - even if it were to appear as a seperate lock for the deadlock function within HomeKit. This would allow some very useful automations in combination with my HomeKit security system.
Not working remotely.
Since last week my app is unable to make changes to the code remotely. Lock / unlock the door, activities log are fine. Is there some issues with the update? That’s no change in my home setting.
Updated app not working
The old Yale app worked great but since updating the new app crashes all the time and Auto Unlock works sporadically. I see a lot of others having the same issue and just directed to support website. I’ve talked to support and re-installed the app and still have the same problems can you please just put the old app back out!!
App locks up
New app regularly stops auto unlocking door. Check App and it’s frozen upon opening and then it eventually crashes. Happens quite regularly, looks like others having same issue.
App constantly locks up
Forced to download new app, managed to login ok, but constantly doesn’t Auto Unlock as the app has frozen, have to force quit and reset the app to away mode
Can’t log in.
Yale is asking everyone who’s download the Yale Access app to switch to this new Yale Home app. However, once downloaded, I cannot login at all.
Yale, please sort this out before cutting your users off the Yale Access app on 30 June 2023.
Rubbish
Devs - STOP RELEASING APPS THAT DONT WORK. You can’t even log in, changed password 4 times before I gave up.
Seems to be ok
The app seems to be running ok now. Might have been some hiccups earlier as mentioned by other users. Looks and feels quiet similar to the older one.
Still buggy
App can not be setup. Can not even log in. Avoid until sorted!
Very bad
0 out of 10 . This app doesn’t even work on wifi in NZ . Avoid at all cost
