Zero: Fasting & Health Tracker

I just want to try out the app as a free version. After the registration, the subscription pop up appears and there is no close button. There is only two option and both are subscriptions. Reopening the app does not solve the issue. This doesn’t align with my goal and I have deleted the app. It’s very rude to force new user to subscribe without even trying the app. I do not feel safe with the development team.

I only download the app coz Im curious if its free then never use the app anymore. Little did I know after 3 days that I was charged an annual fee. Please stop using this app.

It has gone even worse and as of version 5.30.0, it forces you to accept a trial because there is no exit option. And if you forget to unsubscribe, an annual fee of more than $100 will be charged. Beware, Zero is fast becoming a scam and it seems to indicate they might be desperate financially to resort to these measure. Furthermore, even though I’ve already subscribed to the normal ad free version, every time you start a fasting window, it annoyingly prompts you to subscribe. This is still going on with the latest version 5.30.0. Do not believe the developer response to this review. Update: 15 May 24. Requires you to put in your date of birth, invading privacy.

After registering, it requires you to sign up to a short trial that rolls over into a $100+ annual subscription. No monthly subscription appears possible. Sorry, this is far too much of an ask. And there’s no way to proceed without signing up to one of these options. No, there is no “X” to exit the subscription screen!

The app asks you for your Apple Health data and then after you give access it slaps you with a paywall. It won’t even allow you to use the app at all unless you pay or start their trial. This is a scheming and deceptive way to steal user data and mine it for their own gain. Do not download this app.

Behind a paywall only after you registered

First this app forced me to sign up, then ask my weight height and accessing heath app. Then asked me to start the trial. Why I can’t try without subscribing and sign up! And it’s damn expensive 😹

Ends / pauses a fast on it’s own and then doesn’t allow to even edit the timing. Demotivating and disappointing. Fair enough if it’s because I am using free version but ending a fast without asking even in a free version…not nice.
