Zwift Companion

It doesn’t matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall I still can’t make it work or give ride ons in the game or use any if the functions. It used to work but it doesn’t anymore.

The Companion app is a bit strange. It is a handy tool to communicate with other riders but is not useful in planning rides in Zwift or monitoring your progress. There’s no easy way to view your XP but you can see your Drops even though you can’t use them in the Companion app. You can’t configure your rider avatar. There is a round-about way to view routes to plan what route you’re going to take on but it’s very difficult to see what routes are on rotation and which you haven’t completed. The leader board is meaningless. If you run the Zwift app on another device it’s a pain to have to go there to do things like configure your training plan. I guess this app would be less disappointing if there was another app to do such thing’s quickly.

Love how you can see w/kg on the companion app while racing, because it keeps me focused. When doing a solo ride and efforts on a course l Would love a lap button. Noticed on my Companion App erg & incline are missing 🤔

Overall works well to complement zwift ride. What’s missing is ability to reconnect heart rate or trainer whilst still riding.

The zwift app is decent, nothing special cluttered yes, ugly layout yes, but all your rides are there in form so it’s good for seeing that but it’s not mind blowing

Drops out during chat in workout regularly.

Still need to sell to all countries that can ride Zwift Steering needs to be disabled in races.

Used to be great as a remote for the game on Apple TV. But doesn’t connect anymore. This highlights how horrific the game ui is on Apple TV. Probably time to try a competitor anyway. Ciao

Companion app was fantastic to start with, but have not been able to synch with zwift on my ipad for Months. Followed all steps to no avail. Very frustrating
