For what?!
Delayed flight. Gate and plane changed. NO information here in the app. Useless Just to receive boarding pass for your wallet.
Unreliable customer service
Aer Lingus does not offer single booking with stopover flights. So if one segment is cancelled by the airline, the refuse to cancel the orher segment. And if you book via Opodo, they refer you to Opodo and Opodo refers you to Aer Lingus. So one should only fly with Aer lingus, if that is unavoidable.
Couldn’t pay for flight
Apple Pay wouldn’t work, got stuck in “processing”, and trying to pay with card also failed with an error from my bank app saying “aer Lingus isn’t aligned with payment regulations”. Had to go to website to buy flights because of this
Unreliable
Cannot retrieve boarding pass in the app… have to go to EI check in counter in Berlin which is a total horror show…Checked in previous day… rubbish app…. Ryan air app is much better
App is useless as the company
Two late flights back and forth made me lose my connections. Think again before you fly with this company.
Unreliable
This app and the web app are so unrealisable and I fly every weekend from Dublin to Germany. I pick my flight, enter all details and the payment feature won't work. I try Apple Pay or per card, but nothing works. The app crashes and the web app always needs to reload. This happened again, just right now, which means I will book my flight via Lufthansa, which is a bit more expensive, but at least reliable. Thanks for nothing.
Bookings visible in my trips yet no record of them
Unusable app, shows confirmed bookings that there is no record of. It seems that aer lingus still does not correctly support 3dsecure or Apple Pay. Better off with Ryanair tbh
Unreliable Features
The Check in and Boarding pass features did not work for my flight. The App was only useful for checking my travel details. The website works much better.
Can’t login anymore
It’s not possible to use the app. I need to use it, couse I fly pretty often with aer Lingus. It’s terrible nothing helps.
