Suddenly cannot see customer name
The app itself is pretty good, however there is constant glitches, the customer service can take weeks and when they do reply, the majority are very rude ( not all) , fees can be pretty expensive and when there’s a query again difficult to get hold of them,
Expensive to move over. I was charged £700 to move over from my old system, assured that id have everything moved over. This wasn’t done properly at all and i had to do most of it myself. The assigned staff member went on holiday during this transition so I didn’t have any support. I had a couple of weekly meetings that were supposed to support mine and staffs learning of the system. These were facilitated and the staff member was incredibly polite, however by this point I knew the system mostly well. They ended up being times for me to raise issuses. ‘Tech’ was incredibly slow at amending these concerns, it actually showed us in maps on the wrong area for approximately 3 weeks. There are some changes, improvement suggestions i have made. I was reassured these have been passed on and someone would be in touch. This hasn’t happened as of yet. It is a shame, there is chance to have a really good system here but the individualisation is incredibly limited I was reassured it was a free system, main reason for my move, only to discover that there are hidden ‘premuim’ features that i used to get included with my previous system and that I have to pay for texts and emails. So ultimately, i am not saving any money at all, i am paying the exact same monthly amount as my previous system and spent a ridiculous change over fee. You also can’t use the system unless you use their card machine Complaints regarding the above fell on absolutely deaf ears and they said they had held on to their side of the agreement. Evidently we have very different standards of a working system and business. Positives - client reminders and messages are great, including check in messages. The automation makes client retention higher - you do get new clients from the search engine - although they take a cost of this - you can alter prices and timings with different staff if one is faster/slower etc - when you pay for premium reports they are incredibly useful Overall - unfortunately there has been no benefit in me moving systems. But it is a good system now i have spent a significant amount of time setting it up myself and hounding them for corrections to be made. I would absolutely recommend it for smaller businesses and self employed, it is SO useful to have an online booking system and automation.
Have used this app for 5/6 years now without issue. Until they upped charges and want 20% of the total appointment fee if they ‘found the client for you’ which is made up and applies to any ‘new client’. For example a tattoo day session booking of £350 results in £70 taken from your account. Will never recommend this app until they change their ways. Disgusting to take this kind of money from people in a cost of living crisis.
Raising charges and very hard to close account
AVOID This app is not free and there is better apps out there they say free and the hidden charges are ridiculous I have had this app for around 1 week and there trying to charge me £43 for 1 week 😡 there’s a much better and more well known app out there for half the price of this app for the month AVOID
I’ve been with Fresha for years back when it was called “schedul” I have 2 businesses and both businesses use and a pay for all the services. I’ve always been really impressed with it however lately it has definitely gone down hill, my account manager when I asked for helped said that only customers who have Fresha card machines can have their help now which I thought was disgusting, also I was being charged top whack for using an external card machine that I was still in contract with instead of Freshas, apparently there is commission for card machines that’s why they are so pushy for you to have one. would I recommend Fresha before yes now no, I have been looking into similar booking systems that do not penalise you for using your own card machine.
I really liked fresha it's simple for customers to book in, when I joined I had 100 free text, then it went down 50 now I get 20 a month so now I have to keep topping up, so they say the system is free when it's not, only if you have 20 customer s a month then it's free,
UPDATE 22/04/24: WILL YOU PLEASE FIX THE TIMINGS?! A half hour appointment now looks like 3 15 minute lines. What is going on it’s ridiculous?! What the hell have they done with the new update?! Has completely ruined a perfectly good app. What wasn’t broken, don’t fix. If anything you’ve made it more complicated to use! Now I’m seeing 4.5 15 minute lines between colour appointments even though it’s only a 45 minute space and cannot change it. Also accessing info like upcoming appointments was all far better before. Fix the bugs please!!!
