Feeling disappointed with the app. Can’t link the booking to the account, can’t retrieve my booking, can’t proceed with the check-in via app. While trying to print the boarding pass using the web version, can’t obtain it.

Cannot log in with Cathay account, this app is not usable for Cathay members.

It’s like they wrote it once, never used it, and never looked back to fix any bugs

They charged me $50 to change the name on my boarding pass because I didn’t have my middle name on there, and it’s impossible to change it online. I payed $80 for a flight and $45 for a “name change charge.” Ridiculous. The staff was useless in trying to help.

This is honestly the best cheap airline I’ve ever flown. Very polite staff, online check in available, pretty clean, no fuss over baggage or baggage drop, overall 10/10! It’s not a luxury airline but it’s exactly what u want for a buffet airline. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

The app is good, but, being from another country my credit card could not be accepted to add some new features I wanted (more luggage etc.). I hope that can be fixed for people outside of Hong Kong.

Awful airlines the cut costs everywhere. I was forced to buy another ticket even though I was already the the boarding gate and had proof of purchase! Very frustrating.

Made an account of HK express and then went to this app to sign in. All it says is “Bad username or password.” It seems to me that being able to login should be the most important thing about an app. Couldn’t login

I checked in for 6 people and maybe one person’s information was incorrect. It returned an error with no information about what went wrong. I was brought back to the view boarding pass page and it only shows 5 boarding passes. I was scared that the error lost my reservation. I tried numerous time to check and my boarding was still missing. I finally tried the manage button and found my reservation. It’s extremely frustrating when there were no instructions. Someone should QA the system better.

Customer support is quick to respond and answers questions to the best they can. HK Express does not allow them to support their their customers and makes it nearly impossible to get ahold of 🥲 so you do all this work to contact them and then they are like “fill out a form and maybe get a partial tax refund” 🤣
