Previous versions of the app worked flawlessly. This most recent version required me to setup all 7 of my cameras again and wipe all previous data, despite all cameras working in Apple Homekit. Another niggle, some of my cameras were installed suspended upside down so I use the image rotate option in app to correct the image. The issue is that unless you are live viewing the camera, the stills in the timeline appear upside down.

The app is okay to use; I don’t mind the interface and it does the job. But, trying to use the provided Shortcuts actions is pointless. The action to turn monitoring on or off works once or twice, and then fails. When going back to see what the issue is, it shows that there are no cameras available despite that clearly not being the case. Restarting my phone fixes the issue, but I’m not prepared to do that twice a day, and that shouldn’t be needed anyway. I’m really disappointed.

Work for me. I’m happy.

I’ve been using this app for several years now and was generally happy, but the recent changes have made it less usable. One can no longer see recent history on the home page; I have to click history to see the snapshots of past events, and the alerts come at random intervals up to 45 mins after the movement that triggered them. I don’t understand why Netatmo have made these changes which render the app useless.

Used to be great in quickly notifying me when cameras picked up someone near the house but now the delay in notification can be now many many minutes. This is very frustrating and makes it not fit for purpose - there should be no delays on notifications!!! Can this be rectified please?

Since the update it struggles to play back and impossible to download videos.

Hi, I was looking for a way to contact netatmo directly but can’t see this on your website. With the latest app refresh I’m seeing up to 30 minute delays from when I walk on my drive to the app reporting my presence. With the previous version I was able to use this app in real time as a doorbell, opening the door before people rang the bell. When is Netatmo going to restore near real-time notifications?

Had it for several years and generally love the Netatmo camera, which is the only reason I’ve not rated 1 star. The previous app wasn’t without its niggles but was usable. The updated version is a complete pain - doesn’t have the same easily accessible menu items, not at all intuitive. The fact the developer calls it “user friendly” is laughable. New users may like it and I am not just stuck in my ways having used the old one for several years - as with many things, the new version is definitely not “improved” so what would have been a 5 star rating is downgraded.

I really enjoyed the experience inside the app until recently the developers updated the app with totally new UI. As a developer myself I understand new UI can take a while to get used to but I really prefer the previous one. But what is most annoying is that recent camera events now do not appear in timeline. Notification appears but tapping on it just takes me to random old date in my timeline.

The app has been updated and totally changed and it is awful. Change for change sake with absolutely no improvements. Can only zoom in on one part of the screen when live. On recorded clips can zoom in and not back out. Add this to the fact that the camera constantly fails and drops out , it is time move away from Netatmo.
