First of all sometimes it takes lots of times. Second — if you rented a bike and in the end it’s actually not available there is no way to return rather than calling service. Maybe it’s fine, but sometimes I need to make like three calls until it’s finally cancelled. And this for me happen a lot, maybe I’m just unlucky, who knows. But definitely I’ve seen better apps and services and MVG bike rent could be improved.
Returning a bike is taking too long. You have to stand beside it for extra 5 minutes, until it fails and you have to call support. At least support answers. So plus 1 star here) Its not a one time error, but happens each ride. You are also getting charged for these extra minutes you had to wait. I thought mobility is supposed to make you faster, not slower(
The old app and earlier versions of this one made it much easier to buy single/short tickets. Since recently you now have to first painfully find/set a location. Previously you only had to do that in the jpurneyplanner, which at least offered current location. No apparent option for the app to discover your current location automatically as before, making it unnecessary more difficult to ‚quickly‘ buy a ticket. Please re-introduce this functionality .
I’m sure the app is great when you can login. Sadly, I can’t. Thus I can’t access all my tickets. When I click the button to login I only get a white screen. I allow cookies as the website help site suggests, I still can’t login. This is deeply frustrating! I haven’t managed to be even given a login screen!
Payment entry fails despite multiple cards / attempts using app / website therefore unable to use app
Add support for ApplePay. I tried to add a credit card which had to be done by signing up for some Munich website. It ultimately failed when the verification link in a web view didn’t take me anywhere. All other transportation apps I’ve recently used in Europe support ApplePay as a payment option. This makes for a much better end user experience
Payment method didn’t go through for ticket, switched cards and got it working. Still was charged for failed purchase and they sent the payment to collections. Travelled through Munich for 3 days…
Why can’t I see how much they charged me per month on the app, I’m a student who usually pays 29 euros, but a random day I got charged 61 euros and I can’t understand why. I hope they fix this in further updates
The vehicles are defective. Customer service is non existent. Kept charging my card. Had to call Apple Card services to block the transactions.
