Proton Authenticator

In my opinion, such realization is initially wrong way and wrong concept. The Authenticator function should be a part of the Pass application and not a separate application. In this sense it is more convenient and correct in Apple Passwords. Because it is not convenient for me to run more than one application for one simple task. It is extremely uncomfortable. The developer at Proton replied to me saying that 2FA one-time codes are already available in the Proton Pass app. I’ve been a paying subscriber to all Proton services for many years, and I also use Proton Pass — but sorry, I honestly see no such two-factor authentication features there. Nothing like that at all. Could you please point me to where exactly I can find them? Also, I really don’t like the idea of having separate apps for passwords and another one for 2FA. That’s just not convenient. In this specific case, Apple got it right — they put everything inside the Passwords app, and it’s much easier. I don’t need to jump between different apps for the exact same task: authentication.

Great idea to have alternative for MS solution. But right now I can’t switch on it because of fundamental issue - it requires internet connection for work and app is useless without it. It would be great to make app offline with internet only for backups

Needs a way better ui

It’s missing autofill in iOS so I’m not sure why I’d migrate from another Authenticator or even Proton Pass which supports TOTP token management and autofill.

Works on Apple Watch which is awesome. And it’s free?! The set up was easy. They can even import QR codes from screenshot(s) if you save to the photo(s) library, if you have to use the same phone, because otherwise it gets tricky. Great UI. Thank you devs!

Thank you for offering a desktop app!! Works great!! Also, yes, I use mobile, but i use a desktop/laptop too and it's it's great to have a desktop option restored -- so long Authy! You abanonded me, now I can finally abandon you.

This is a really great alternative to Google Authenticator.

App looks nice, good progress. Would prefer the ability to set a different PIN for unlocking the app, similar to what the proton mail app’s ability is.
