Manage your adult Oyster and contactless cards on the move with the app.
• Top up pay as you go credit
• Buy adult rate 7 Day, Monthly and Annual Travelcards, and Bus & Tram Passes
• View your Oyster card and contactless journey history
• Check contactless payments
• Check your pay as you go balance and see season tickets
• Check if you have any incomplete journeys
• Allow notifications when your pay as you go balance falls below a certain amount, or your Travelcard is about to expire
When you top up your credit or buy a Travelcard or Bus & Tram Pass, it will be available to collect after 30 minutes when you touch your Oyster card on a yellow card reader as part of a journey on any London bus, or at any Tube, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail or National Rail station within the pay as you go area, tram stop or River Bus pier.
Keeping on top of your spend is easy; see the date, time and cost of your journeys from the last 8 weeks.
The TfL Oyster and contactless app will request access to your camera. This is so that you can scan your payment card. We will never store the scanned pictures. Alternatively you can enter the card details manually.
You can’t currently add Oyster photocards to this app.
You can’t currently buy discounted tickets through the app.
For security reasons the TfL Oyster and contactless app is not supported on jailbroken devices.

It always requires to enter your details and password
The application is really inconvenient. Very often (2 times per month or even more often) it requires you to enter your password. Of course , I don’t remember it. Guys, it’s just an Oyster card app, even my bank app doesn’t require this. Actually I just dreaming to delete this app and never use it again. Really bad work
Error when login
I see in 50% cases when I try to log in error Sorry, we are unable to process your request at the moment due to technical... So when I open app I have 50% chance to log in, I have never seen worse ux for a long time
Not working
Doesn’t let me in ‘due to...’ - can’t see the rest. Me oyster is good and is of right generation.
It doesn’t work.
When I starting fill a registration form it doesn’t fill “title”. And I had to delete this application. Very bad work, guys (((
Nichts für Touristen
Wäre sicherlich eine super App aber für als Tourist völlig nutzlos. Visitor Oyster Cards können nicht hinzugefügt werden. Dachte die Kommentare von vor mehreren Jahren hätten die Entwickler dazu gebracht das zu ändern, aber nein…
Not working
I have created an account, however I have wasted my time... The app is not working. I cannot even open it!
I give up
Hopeless app, already failed at the registration level because I don’t have a UK address (though country options are offered). How would tourists ever be able use this app? Do better TfL
Bugs remain unfixed
Adding a contactless card throws an error, can you please fix it?
Useless for non residents
London is probably one of the most visited citys in the world and the product owner did not manage to include them as persona for this app? Poor performance, sorry.
