STAY AWAY FROM XERO
Horrible. Terrible idea. Whoever thought this was smart needs a new job. Need this app to log in every single time. Although it already asked for a backup email? Will be looking to switch providers since this is a requirement of xero every single time you log in. So you HAVE to have your phone beside you 24/7. If it’s dead or can’t find it well you’re out of luck to be able to check your books!!!!!! So dumb.
So bad it made me write my first review
I’ve never written a review on the App Store before, but this is so insanely overkill it merits adding another one-star review on to the pile. Whose idea was this? They should be fired. “Let’s add a requirement for people to download an app so we can harvest and sell their information” - every app developer nowadays, apparently
Waste of time
Hate this. Already use a username and pswd. I control the account. Very much overkill. STOP REGULATING AND LET US MANAGE OUR BUSINESS
Why?
Why? Have to add two different emails, use an app, scan a code, all to log in to do my books for the business. Way over kill and something that seems total waste of my time. Thinking of switching to something else for my small company
Doesn’t work
“Having trouble verifying”… won’t work and there are no troubleshoot options for this problem
Another app, more hoops to jump through
Out of several things Xero could improve (more bank transactions per page, better navigation), they chose to implement this. Although a good security feature, not even banks force MFA on their clients.
Forced App Download
I don’t need another app on my phone.
Forced to download the app
Every company makes you download their own version of their authentication app. Same story every time, they need your phone number, personal email, the app is annoying and needs notifications, any time you try and do anything now it’s 100x harder cause after two minutes you’re signed out. Can’t even give us the option to opt out. Why’s that so hard?
Push notifications don’t work
They just do not, no way of turning them on. Terrible app. Waste of time
