For an app not significantly better than Duolingo, that’s free, or Rosetta Stone for $200 lifetime access. This is simply not possible to justify over $100 per year subscription.
Pronunciation always thinks you’re saying something else. Impossible to pass the first level. I’m learning to speak French, not spell random words
Please replace the typing portion with an actual keyboard. The existing format is infuriating. I want to try the next levels but can’t get past that part. Takes longer to find the letters even though I know the answer. App looked promising before that stage tho. Hope you’ll change it so I can keep using it
There is zero demo/free trial. It just asks you to buy it right of the bat. You can’t even see what this app is like. Literally. Nothing.
I downloaded this app hoping to learn more French words and it keeps giving me very ambiguous words and phrases, sometimes full sentences. The nouns don’t come with articles which does not help me to learn the gender of the word. Moreover, it charged me for a year with no warning of ending free trial. I’m very disappointing and I’m calling my bank to get my money back.
Ad showed it plays videos with text but it doesn't
You’re better of buying a French book an amazon.
So, the advertisement suggests that the app has what would be a very useful feature, namely, to provide scripted French conversations between native speakers with translation. This i would pay for. Instead, what you really get is simply word translations learned via listening, writing and speaking. If your goal is to simply improve your French vocabulary, then this is a reasonable app for you but, the advertised functionality as described above isn’t yet available apparently. This is dishonest.
This app advertises itself as a completely different app in which you use the latest movies and television to learn French. Instead it is a bad knock off of Duolingo that you can’t use without committing to paying money. Very sketchy stuff.
