adidas Runtastic Running App Reviews

Inaccurate distance measuring

Mr Runner Guy on

New Zealand

I don’t think that this app is very accurate. My other friend was using strava on the same run as me but at the end of the run I had apparently ran 300 metres less than him and had a slower pace than him even though I ended up finishing the run about 30 seconds ahead of him… might switch to strava for more accurate results until I know this is correct

Used to be the best

Zurbit on

New Zealand

This used to be the best fitness tracker app in the store. I love the mapping of fast and slow. But recently its been popping up ads, and those ads have tiny close buttons, so you can’t interact with the app while training. You have to stop to close the @&$@ ads before you can continue.

Auto Pause

DaViking on

New Zealand

Great package, even the free version. Auto Pause it doesn’t have however which is probably my only gripe with it. I use it for general cycling and often pause for a photo or a break/chat/drink and then realize I haven’t paused it and/or restarted, throwing any useful data out of whack.

Better on iOS

#failmonster on

New Zealand

Groups should be geofenced they’re pretty meaningless, that would take it to 4 star. Dark mode would get to 5 star.

Best running app

Zarasflwr on

New Zealand

I run 5 times a week and I have tried many apps. This one with the voice prompts and the seamless interface with both Pandora and Spotify is by far my favorite. I would like to have an icon for my Apple Watch- the Nike running app wasn’t great. I would also like to have it automatically default to my preferred running length/time which has been 5k in the last year. That would be a great future setting. Other than that I am very happy.

New UI is difficult to read

JoeB7 on

New Zealand

The recent major UI design updates aren’t very user friendly. As a runner, not wearing my glasses, the new layout is hard to read. You have removed colours from icons, which makes it even harder now to discern between functions. Some interactions with the app, for example how you felt when closing a workout, require now more than one interaction to finish an exercise. I think this update is nice for some UI people, but less useful for athletes using it. During a workout there are different demands then looking at it on your MacBooks in the office.

Great App

Kiwisloggerjogger on

New Zealand

This is a great little app that I’ve been using for four years now. Performs really well, even the free version, excellent where poor GPS coverage and cell coverage, great for tracking your progress and motivating you with the goals you set. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Nice app!

alex090821 on

New Zealand

Awesome app that helps me a lot to keep track of my activities!

Lost record

ALEXIS驼 on

New Zealand

I used this app 7 years ago and after it updated so many times throughout these years, it started to charge and most importantly, I’m unable to see my records because of this. Absolutely bad experience for old user. Uninstalled already.
