Exports can silently fail

iludan on

United States

From time to time the export of multiple images would fail without any indication. You would think everything is correct, and then after you start looking into library you see some of the images are just not there. Apparently this is a known issue for some time. Just not reliable to replace desktop editing. I was hoping to bring my iPad to vacation instead of the laptop, but after testing this for some while I just can’t rely on it. Also, another annoying fact is, this app will try to upload everything to cloud. Why can’t I just edit photos from the device, why is uploading everything to cloud/ just does not make sense to me. We are all paying subscription, I just want my files to stay on my devices. You should be and do better Adobe.

Too difficult

CarrieA1024 on

After watching several YouTube videos I’m still lost and this app isn’t user friendly for non-techy Gen Xers like me. I was supposed to get a 7-day free trial but I was charged immediately. I’ve cancelled and deleted the app.

Not a replacement for Photoshop Fix

G.T. Witt on

United States

I’m not a photographer. I just take family pix and need to remove objects sometimes. I used Photoshop fix for years and years and loved it! Now Adobe got rid of it and gave me Lightroom. Unless I pay $50/year, it does not remove objects. Not a fair trade Adobe. I cannot recommend LR. I’m very unhappy.

Lying, spying and stealing

AceDsk on

Learned that Adobe now has automated and manual access to all your information and files, additionally, by using their platform, you grant them permission to save and use your content, files and data in any way they please. Goodbye Adobe, ya'll screwed the pooch. Switching over to Photomator and Luminar for good now. dueces ✌🏼

Awesome app!

Awesome workflow addition!

Needs updates

Graigs on

Wonderful program, super quick. And easy. My only complaint is that there’s no AI noise reduction. Please add that adobe. Please. It’s so close to fully featured, why not just add the couple of features? They added generative AI features. I don’t really care about that, I want to remove noise from my images.

Removing all adobe apps

Tmidiman on

United States

This one will stay so the review stays up. Ever since they locked everything behind a pay wall I decided to leave and not use any apps. Even more so, the pay plain is ridiculous. I pay for apps, but not insane ones. Goodbye.

Unbelievably terrible to use

moiraphael on

Can’t’ import portrait photos, keeps saying fail to import, don’t understand why LR can’t handle portrait photos??? The design, shortcuts, etc. of LR iPad don’t have anything related to the desktop version. They are like from two world. And the desktop version is way easier to use. Don’t understand how much difficulty it is to align between the two versions???

Lack of tutorials-iPad specific

Almighty Pooba on

United States

Although the app is packed with features, it cannot do the one thing I wanted, edit hair roots to match the rest of the hair. I searched YouTube and Adobe’s help website without finding answers for the current version of the ipad app. I did a live chat with an Adobe representative who suggested a couple websites and YouTube. I asked what specific YouTube video and he said “no specific recommendations.” He said “you can use the Brushes to pick up the exact color.” I said “how do I do that?” His speech bubble appeared and disappeared a few times, then this msg came up “Swati has left the conversation.” So I guess that’s it. I wasted my money. It can’t do the one thing I bought it for.
