WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

sophie_f on

Upon update to the latest version, Lightroom is now laggy and unresponsive, even basic operation like open up a photo could take like 20 seconds to complete, I don’t know what are the devs doing but, THEY JUST RUINED MY WORKFLOW WITH THIS UPDATE

why do I have to Pay Twice?

Lulu-26 on

I love the Lightroom app but I do not like that I have to pay for use on every device. I would much rather have my premium subscription across all devices or even be charged a small amount extra per device, like streaming services do. It’s not really good service.

Great, But Missing Features To Be Excellent

Vueey Le on

Adobe Lightroom for iPad is a powerful mobile photo editing app, but it falls short of being truly excellent due to a few missing features and quality-of-life improvements. The app lacks comprehensive keyboard shortcuts, an area where it could significantly improve. Given the growing popularity of keyboards for iPads, incorporating keyboard shortcuts such as "C" for cropping, or the ability to adjust settings using arrow keys with an "Enter" key for confirmation, would streamline the workflow and make the editing process more efficient. Another limitation is the lack of a single-screen display option for both the histogram and metadata. Considering the larger screens of iPad Pro and iPad Air, it would be beneficial to allow users to customize their screen layout to see more information at once. This would enhance the overall user experience and facilitate a smoother editing process. Finally, the app could benefit from the ability to work with local images instead of relying solely on cloud-stored images. As iPads become increasingly capable, professionals are beginning to use them as standalone devices. Allowing local editing would give users greater flexibility and make Adobe Lightroom for iPad a more versatile tool. Overall, Adobe Lightroom for iPad is a solid app with powerful editing capabilities, but these improvements would elevate it from great to excellent, providing users with a more efficient and versatile editing experience.

Sync does not do what it says.

Shermanoz on

The one main reason i chose Lightroom over other programs was due to its ability to sync across devices. but it does not work. lots of bugs. over many years it is still not fixed.

Issues and suport

Chop(p)in on

I like the App and does a great job but of late I get a lot of RESETS and is a pain - it has been mentioned but no seems to notice and no feedback mechanism. Very frustrated with the support.

Sad

Everything cost money they couldn’t just give the free uses the ability to edit raw when we’ve already spent $1000 (or more) on a camera

Tether time?

amy.whitfield on

When oh when can we tether from camera to iPad my mates? You’re losing me!

Missing basic features

lgb45 on

It is ok and loads the photos fast but Lightroom was traditionally for organising and as such it is missing basic features such as the ability to adjust what information is displayed I can choose from a variety of camera info and date (some of which I don’t need but can’t turn off) or exposure but not a combination of both. Also iPads are light for travelling but there is no way to adjust photo metadata on the iPad version for time zones - this is super easy on Lightroom classic. I found this program harder to learn to use perhaps because I was looking for stuff that wasn’t there. I found the whole sync situation difficult and couldn’t find an option that said store photo locally /transfer files to cloud - I would much prefer this to it automatically filling up the cloud - which I can’t work out how to fix without deleting photos (I would like the copies on the iPad they came from). For some reason my presets don’t load on iPad- I suspect because it automatically filled the cloud with photos but I bought a iPad with storage for a reason.

Failing to load

blatted on

Since your most recent update, I am no longer able to load raw files from my SD card to my iPad as Lightroom just shuts down every time. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice but the shut down continues to happen. I have been paying for this service for a number of years without problem, but I am looking at changing apps now.
