Very good but missing trails
Trails arent up to date tho, some are missing or wrong. I wouldnt reply on Alltrails for trail paths too much
Bien pour trouver une rando à faire près de soi
Les plus : interface utilisateur simple & intuitif - le choix des rando avec les avis - les informations techniques détaillées pour chaque rando - les photos postées pour se faire une idées Les moins : l’aide à la navigation pourrait être améliorée. Il manque à mon sens un guidage audio (comme le propose la plupart des apps de navigation comme Plan avec l’iPhone). Quand on marche avec des bâtons, on aimerait ne pas avoir à consulter tout le temps son téléphone pour vérifier si on est sur le bon chemin. J’utilise l’affichage de la carte sur ma montre pour contourner le problème sauf que je n’ai plus de batterie au bout de 2h (ma montre tient habituellement toute une journée sans problème). Le plan manque parfois de précision, il m’est arrivée de ne pas trouver le bon embranchement même en zoomant le plan sur mon iPhone et de devoir faire demi tour sans trouver l’embranchement loupé pour finalement prendre un raccourci hors sentier pour récupérer le bon chemin.
Maps are great help when navigation fails
UPDATE: Previous issue resolved. Solid hiking app. Very well done maps with plenty of trails that are lacking from other sources. Which is useful because my main complaint now is that it doesn’t always let you know when you went the wrong way on your route. So pay attention to the map and you’ll be fine.
Meh
Good for finding info on trails, but the tech is glitchy for recording trails. Failed to keep me on route and would not resume after a pause. Recorded a 4 hour hike as 38 minutes.
I need to be able to make my own hike
All trails does a great job of showing me trails in my area, but only a few hikes. I would like to be able to choose some trails and make my own hike and name it before I go. Please make that for me.
Accurate GPS tracking.
This is by far the most accurate GPS tracking app I’ve tried. The only thing I would change would be to allow for editing routes for those times you forget to end the hike and drive home. I hate to delete the whole hike yet I don’t want to include the drive in my stats.
Apple Family Share
Does this app work with Apple’s Family share? If so, how?
Won’t Tell you that it costs money before you get it!
I thought this was free when they market it as not being any money but in reality you have to buy a subscription to aces most of the app!!
Ridiculous price and auto renews for an entire year
If you try the free trial, be sure to cancel on time, or they’ll automatically charge you for an entire year.
