Amex Experiences

Went to two food festival events. At one, we were asked to pay (again) at the end of the dinner. We had to wait for 30min for the (Michelin star) restaurant to try to contact the event organizers. They couldn’t and we had to give them screenshots of the booking confirmation. At the other, the food was mediocre and we left hungry.

Half of the content is just bookmarks to a browser.

The app is fine enough, but every time it updates I get logged out and have to enter a one-time password delivered via SMS to log back in. The SMS almost never arrives. This is particularly infuriating if the app auto-updates and then I’m unable to login while I’m at the airport and cannot take advantage of the benefits of the app (ie priority security).

This app just doesn’t work on iPhone 15. It doesn’t fit correctly on the screen, meaning you can’t use the app at all. Also completely pointless, as all the rewards and perks are in London. Nothing for for us Northerners. I’m starting to wonder why I even took out an Amex card. It doesn’t offer anything near me

App needs fixing since getting an iPhone 15 Pro the app no longer displays right it’s like to doesn’t fix the screen anymore

Appears on screen for less than a second and then closes. No use to me currently.

Seems so pointless this app, what would be great if you could book travel through this app. Maybe a feature for the future?

All this app really does is shows you what you already see and can do on the main website (which is abysmal in itself) worse still to actually do anything it takes you from the app back to the (horrendous) website

I appreciate your efforts to bring card members this app, it’s another way for us to access our benefits which is great. The issue is that for people with more than 1 card you currently can’t toggle between the different card types. I have platinum, gold and business which all have different experience offers, please can you enable the app so it’s possible to toggle between different cards. I would also like to be able to login to the app by using my existing Amex app details, this would make the experiences app feel more personal and would link it to my account etc.

Nothing in Manchester which as the country’s second city should have one thing once in a while maybe? The offers on our Platinum card are 50% London-specific too. The only thing they did was a food tour but even that got cancelled.
