An amazing list app
Over the years I had tried pretty much every list app available while trying to find a shared grocery list solution for me and my family. Once I found AnyList the search ended. It’s amazing. It has tons of excellent, useful, relevant features without feeling cumbersome or complicated. And most importantly syncing shared lists with my family is quick and seamless – AnyList has greatly aided our family’s grocery shopping. And beyond just groceries, the app has become the place where we keep individual or shared packing lists, gift wish lists, and lists of book, movies, and podcasts that we get recommended. On top of that, anytime I have ever had to contact them for assistance (which is rare because the help info is great) replies have been quick, helpful, and friendly. The affordable subscription is a no brainer knowing I’m helping to fund this kind of development and dedication.
Impressive
I've been using this app for a few years. The paid version is very useful, especially in importing recipes from websites. It avoids the photos and delays while waiting to refresh. Also, great response to a problem I had when a recipe wouldn't import. After reporting it via a prompt, I received a detailed explanation the next day. That kind of attention is rare from apps and software, in my experience.
Fantastic for 50% of recipes I want to save
When the app works with a program it’s fantastic. I do find however that it doesn’t download about half of the recipes I want to keep - and from popular sites like Delish and Canadian Living. It’’s still possible to save those recipes in the app but involves a time consuming copy/paste process. Apparently the app is working on resolving this issue. When that happens it’ll be a five star from me
Brilliant and Indispensable
I love this app and find it provides great value. It’s so easy to import recipes from most sources. And it’s easy to create them from scratch. But AnyList doesn’t restrict you to just recipes. It is superb as a grocery shopping list that allows your shopping partner and you to tick off items as you separately but them into your shopping carts in the store. Just an outstanding app!

It’s a bit tricky to use all the features and options but I’ve had it for years now and love the many organizing lists I create
Watch & Phone
Only list app I found to work in sync with my iPhone and Apple Watch. Works great and use it all the time. Highly recommend.
Messed up
I’ve been using this free version of this app for years. All of a sudden all my list was messed up & put into different categories. It wouldn’t let me move them back to where I want them. I had great customer service & was able to fix it without losing anything. It also got cleaned up in the process.
Could not do without
With this applications integration with Amazon Alexa we can ensure that we are always on top of what we need at grocery store. The receipe integration makes it easy to ensure we have everything we need.
Excellent app!
Super easy to make a variety of lists, organize them and edit categories, colours and icons. Sharing a list makes grocery shopping easier when only one of us can get to the store. The recipe import feature is also very useful. Best list app ever.
