Poor app
Cannot recall texts and images for all users after a short time (4-5 minutes). When I deleted and re-downloaded the app, the only option was for me to send a verification SMS to an international number - so stupid.

Unable to log in with SMS on roaming
It’s impossible to log in for me via SMS while roaming. Are there other alternatives to sign in?

카카오톡 UX가 엉망인건 알았지만 정말 해도해도 너무한다는 생각 자주 듬. 주로 telegram WhatsApp 쓰지만 한국인 지인이나 가족들이랑은 계속 카톡을 써야하는게 안타까움. 해외에서 이메일 하나 바꾸는데 각종 증빙서류를 보내라던가 몇년 전에 바꾼 핸드폰 번호라 해지 관련 서류도 찾기 불가능한데 꼭 찾아오라는 등. 다른 증빙 방법도 없고.
Worst verification process
Till date I still can’t verify after multiple attempts of sending the international sms to +44. It’s the first time I am required to send sms instead of the company sending verification code to the user. What a warped process Kakao talk before you aim to be an innovative company pride yourself with high tech, fix your basic onboarding process..
I hope it gets better
The messages will disappear after a few days of “ not being connected to the internet “ which is a function that I cannot turn off

Unresponsive and old looking
I can’t even message
what’s the point of a messaging app if i cant even join chats? now the app is pretty much useless to me because i’m temporarily banned and can’t join new open chats. very very inconvenient

Sucky app and customer service!
Chats have been consistently empty despite receiving messages and when addressed to customer service, they have generic replies and did nothing to resolve the issue!
