Nothing works after update
My system was working fine until this recent update. Can’t connect to system and not able to add speakers after reset. Speakers will disappear immediately after adding to app.

Aqara Home is an app for smart home automation and control. With Aqara Home, you can:
1.
control Aqara accessories anywhere and anytime where there is Internet access;
2.
create homes and rooms and assign accessories to the rooms;
3.
control your Aqara accessories and check the status of connected appliances. For example:
*adjust the brightness of lights and check the power consumption of home appliances;
*monitor the temperature, humidity and air pressure;
*detect water leak, and human movement;
4. create Automations to automate your home. For example:
*set a timer to turn on or off an appliance connected to a smart plug;
*use a Door and Window Sensor to trigger lights: turn on lights automatically when the door opens;

create Scenes to control multiple accessories. For example, add a Scene to turn on multiple lights and fans;

ask Siri to control HomeKit supported Aqara accessories and user defined Scenes;

Customer Service
There customer service is poor if you ever have an issue
New version changed the Start and End Times
The new version just released changed the Start and End times for the effective period for a temporary password on the door to be the same time each day for the date period. It used to be the time of day on the start date and the time of day on the end date. Which was good as that allowed me to set the checkin and checkout time for my guests. But now you have to effectively let them in at any time of the day and stay until any time of the day. Why change the function? Why not introduce the new function as an option? That’s just poor judgement and poor change control.
App freezes then crashes
I never leave bad reviews but this is so annoying. After a lot of research I finally decided to buy an aqara product because of the smart features. The device itself works manually by pressing buttons. But the wireless feature is rendered unusable because of the terrible app you have to use. I’ve tried to re install several times, but just freezes and crashes. App is completely useless so my ‘smart’ device is now dumb. Absolutely terrible.
App crashes
The app crashes on loading screen. Cant use my devices at all.
Cannot open it
The latest version gets stuck at the splash screen. Terrible!

Apps great
App and camera are really good, first camera I have owned so nothing to compare too, but overall a great user experience. I wish it was a bit easier to skim through video on the app when looking at the record feed but other than that it’s great.
