So I had downloaded this game in a phone a while back and it was really good, even though I never actually finished the tutorial( it’s really long) And then I downloaded it on my ipad. Now, this might be because my parents took safari off my ipad but after I finished the download and signed in with apple and then it sent me to this site. I can’t see any of it because it says access restricted, but when I try to click allow access nothing happens. I don’t know why it’s sending me to a site anyway, but I can’t play it because of this 😅

Honestly, the title says it all. Just download the game; it’s the best mobile game on the market.

"Arknights is a gacha game" criminally understates what you get in this tower defense game. When you play through story mode and event stages, you can easily find yourself reading hours of story between just a few game stages. Of course, you can skip those stories and just play the game, and you can have a lot of fun just doing that - but there is so much lore you’d be missing out on. There are a couple main characters in Arknights; you, "the Doctor", and Amiya. You play as the Doctor, and Amiya is your partner, whom you receive as a playable operator. All the other hundreds of operators are different characters you learn about as you play the game and read the story. Really, my biggest complaint is the iPad app is a bit glitchy with touch navigation; the tiniest touch will send the menu flying one way or the other, and if you tap to try and stop it you’ll find the menu thrown back the other way or even further. Very annoying, and this doesn’t happen on the iPhone version. My other minor complaint would be the lack of newer 2*, 3* and 4* operators, along with the relative efficacy versus "price" to upgrade 5* operators. 9.9 times out of 10 you’ll get your resources worth upgrading a 6* operator - the opposite could be said of most 5* units, with the lower cost 4* units being the best bang for your buck (don’t get the wrong idea, you can play this game completely for free, using only resources collected in-game, that just means you need to be considerate of where you apply those resources). All in all 3/5 app review, 5/5 game review.

The games great the contents diverse and the gacha & currency conversion rates are reasonable and the quality of life features that were lacking have been added. They let to choose how many times you want to auto deploy and with cn getting that base update there’s not much else that really needs changing so there’s not really anything I can complain about other than maybe letting us skip the dialogue from the operators when pulling instead of waiting until it’s most of the way done.

I can’t recommend a gacha game in good faith because Gambling but also this is literally the best game I’ve ever played wrt narrative. Because what other game shows scenes in the launch trailer and then takes five years of storytelling to finally uncover the truth. Good for people who love big worlds, beautiful characters, and those who are unemployed or otherwise have copious amounts of free time to dump into fully immersing yourself in the world.
