Don’t be fooled by the Gacha...
This is a real game with soul and depth. The music and atmosphere are amazing and the story after a slow start gets good. There’s attention to detail and tons of lore to discover despite the sometimes awkward translation. The gameplay is nuanced and even with the best characters turning your brain off means death. There’s space for a large array of strategies and even the lowest rarity units can clear the stages with enough planning and knowledge of the game.
If you don’t wanna took away at the game challenges with low rarity units, the game is quite generous and the Gacha pity rate is good enough to ensure you have a good chance at characters of high rarity you like, along with them appearing in the in-game currency shop on rotation. Take me for instance, with only the monthly card(and some random spending here and there) I already have 80% of the highest rarity characters and you don’t even need duplicates or equipment to make them usable like other games, get them once and you’re good.
This by far my favorite “Gacha game” ever and it really transcends that label to become a good game that can effortlessly stand on its own regardless of the gambling or mobile aspect. I will soon be playing for a year and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!
