Blocked for being outside US
I’m from Argentina and I’ve been a proud user since gen 1. Now I can’t add more devices to my account for being outside the US, doesn’t make sense…

Good afternoon! Since the last update, the app won't open. Please fix this issue with a new update
The lock is nice but the app is very unfriendly. Registration process is terrible, there are a lot of security mesures (sms and mail verification) very hard for guests. Remember that lot of users need it for short term rentals, like me, I decided to give them only the code access rather than the app. The messages are not friendly for new users, always they are stacked with no idea where to go. The app works deficiently: if you have to delete one or more user the app crashes so you have to force it to restart.
Every day, it makes me sign in and enter a passcode it texts me despite never logging out. Really takes the convenience out of it.
After years of mostly seemless working, one of my locks started being unresponsive in HomeKit but not August app. I removed the accessory from HomeKit but current version of app crashes when trying to enable HomeKit for lock.
Dont buy unless the developer fix the widget
an updated functional widget is long overdue
After iOS 18 they removed the widget to unlock from your Lock Screen. August just blames Apple on their website. Saying legacy widgets are not supported. You are a “smart” technology manufacturer. Write new code and update your “smart” technology!!! Pathetic. Can not recommend.
Can’t log in, can’t reset password, can’t get in touch with online on the phone and they keep asking how they’re doing (3x)! They’re terrible! Do not trust them with your security or anything. Bad tech all around.
iOS 18 was released almost 4 months ago, anybody still at August or is this a company just treading water?
