There is no mention of this on August website. Feels shady to me. Potential buyers beware. 22 Feb 2025: Being using the August lock for a few years now. It works mostly. The battery life is atrocious but we managed to use rechargeable batteries so we just have to change the battery regularly whenever we receive the battery low notifications. Now that Yale/August have up international markets, the app doesn’t support international SMS verifications anymore. Resetting password won’t work since there is no way to verify via SMS . It will be nice to have a verification function built into the app instead of sending SMS. At lease International/grey markets users can still use the product.

My widget for locking and unlocking doors is missing after iOS 18 update!

Please resolve this. App no longer works after the latest update

Stay away from this app. App randomly changes settings and locks me out of my account. All attempts to reset password or create an account leads to an error. My lock is basically a brick stuck into my door all thanks to this app.

I wish you would improve on your not so smart lock to 5G wifi instead of staying at the old 4G wifi. Now I couldn’t access my lock on internet. Come on, now we are going into 6G wifi but August still on 4G!!

My wife got stuck outside the door for one hour today because her august app on her watch does not work with zero information and error message. I managed to open the door only because I have Apple Home set up and I integrated August smart lock with it. The watch app is UNRELIABLE. I have emailed them before on this and it has always been unreliable. One could spend ten minutes outside the door trying to open the door with the watch.

Widget shows “unable to load” since a few days ago. Suspected to do with the recent update?

Please investigate! I love using the Watch App especially when I am bringing the thrash out. Hope it works again soon

Just updated few days, encountered using Iwatch “There aren’t any locks to operate “. Both Iwatch and IPhone is using latest version. Even reinstalled of no sight. Please help me. I think some bugs with this version. Kindly roll back.

All the buttons are showing the label_names making it almost impossible to use the app. It’s scary to think that if QA missed this, what else is not working right.
